"Why does no one ever come to the library anymore?" She whispered to herself, her head on her hands, as she sat in front of the library counter.

"Must be the duel tournament thing...... I bet it's cool to be a duelist, but there's always too many people watching. I wonder what's happening?" She asked herself, looking around the library.

"Saya?" Asked an elderly woman behind her, the Librarian, Ms. Aizawa.

"Yes Miss Aizawa? What can I do today?" Saya asked, now somewhat interested.

"I need you to get an order of a bookshelf from that carpenter fellow down the block. We're having a new shipment of books and we don't have room." The old woman answered.

"Hai Aizawa Sensei!" She answered, walking out of the library and going to the carpenter's. Upon there she met a new person. "Ummm...... Kon'nichiwa?" She asked silently, her voice becoming a whisper.

[Red Croatia]

"Hmph! Fine... I'll admit that you have a nice trap.. But know what I have!? A nice spell! I use Monster Reborn to bring my monster back to the world of living and I end my turn with one card face-down." the mysterious figure smirked.

"Very well..My turn again...I draw! And now I summon Unifrog in attack mode! Now my Unifrog, attack that hooded freak directly!" smirked Christina as her attack ended with success. "I end my turn with a face-down!"

"Very well ladies..I believe that it is my turn.." said Cassandra as she has drew. "I activate Doriado's Blessing which lets me discard Element Doom in order to summon Elemental Mistress Doriado! And now that I have I am going to flip summon my Element Magician and summon Element Dragon in attack mode! Now I'll play Mystical Space Typhoon to clear Christina of her face-down. Great! Now Element Dragon attack Unifrog!" smirked Cassandra, "Now dues to his ability he can attack over and over again!" she laughed as she continued destroying her monsters, however dues to the fact that she destroyed T.A.D.P.O.L.E Christina now got two new cards in her hand, "Now Element Dragon, attack her directly!"

"I don't think so!" Christina took a deep breath, "I cancel out your attack with Battle Fader and End your battle phase! Hmph!" Cassandra glared angrily at Christina's previous comment before she ended her turn with another face-down.

"If you two ladies would allow me, I believe that it's my turn!" the mysterious figure drew, "I attack with my Daigusto Sphreez! Go and destroy her Mistress Doriado!" at that comment Cassandra smirked, "I activate Elemental Burst, wiping you of your entire field including your Sphreez!", "FINE!" yelled out the mysterious person, "I think I'll set one card face down and end my turn!".

"Now it's my turn again!" drew Christina, Payback time.. she thought. "I activate Hand Destruction making all of us discard two cards and then draw two cards..." she said as she discarded two T.A.D.P.O.L.E's. "Then I activate monster reborn returning my Unifrog back to the field but just to sacrifice her in order to summon my Des Frog which allows me to summon two more Des Frog's from my deck! And now that I did I believe I'll use Des Croaking to destroy everything Cassandra has on her field!" Christina smirked, just to get Cassandra's respond, "Fine then! I chain Fuh-Rin-Kan-Zan to destroy all of your monsters right after you destroy my field!" the two glared as their fields were destroyed. "Now I'll use Monster Reborn to return my Des Frog and now I'll use Aqua Jet to increase her attack points by 1000! Au Revoir to 2900 of your life points Cassandra!" she said as she was attacked successfully.

"Agh! I'll get you for this! My turn!" Cassandra drew, "I activate Preparation of Rites to add my Doriado's Blessing and my Elemental Mistress Doriado to my hand! Then I'll use Monster Reborn as well to return my other Mistress Doriado! And now that I did I'll summon yet another one using Doriado's Blessing to discard Element Warrior! Perfect!" Cassandra smirked, "Now I'll use Riryoku to add 600 life points of my one Doriado to my other. Next I'll use Secret Pass to the Treasures on my weaker Elemental Mistress Doriado before equiping her with Ritual Weapon! Now she'll attack the mysterious person directly!" Christina smirked as all of their life points were around equal...

Soon the duel continued..It was an epic battle...At least 25 turns have passed by now...

"My move..." Said Cassandra as she drew the final card in her deck. "I lay one card face-down and end my turn..." she then smirked, "And as I do I activate it! The Paths of Destiny! Now each one of us flips a coin and if it's head they gain 2000 life points, and if they gain tails they lose 2000 life points!" the coins dramatically moved up and now before all but Christina's coins ended in tails, which would normally make Christina winner of the duel, "Not so fast!" the mysterious person yelled, "I activate Bad Reaction to Simochi, so even if she would gain life points she loses them instead! So we all lose!", "I don't think so!" yelled Christina activating her Mystical Space Typhoon, "I destroy your little Bad Reaction to Simochi and declare myself winner of this duel!" soon, the arms of all three started glowing, and what appeared to be glowing were mysterious...red signs. "I don't think so!" pointed out Cassandra, "I negate your little magic card with Spell Jammer, and after all...all of us will lose!".

Suddenly a huge glow covering the entire arena appeared as the life points of each turned 0, the signs of the three disappeared and they all fell down unconscious. "What...Is going on...?" said Cassandra, before closing her eyes.

Announcer stood shocked, "Ladies and gentlemen..It appears that all of those three semi-finalists..have lost..." he sighed as the crowd started cheering, even though it was disappointing none got trough they all witnessed an amazing duel.

Soon the three were escorted to three different rooms and were locked within capsules with glass over them, allowing them to see. Each one of them has some strange wirings connected around their arms, legs and heads. None of them knew what was going on...and all of them were soon to be awoken.

William looked up from his work when he heard the bell on the door ring. Turning off the air compressor and pulling his mask off and letting it hang from his neck, he walked up front and saw a young lady standing there. "Evening Ma'am," he said, "What can I do for you this evening?'

He had turned off the TV earlier, so he was clueless about what was happening at the Fortune Cup right then.

Ayumi entered the town. She looked around. In her mind, she was thinking things over, where she could stay, etc. In the park, she slipped into one of her depressed episodes, as a result from her loneliness. She found a tree, sat down, and she started crying.
"No one will ever love me, I'll be alone for ever." She cried in her arms.

"So-Sorry."

Ayumi looked to see the boy no longer in front of her, and that heavy, dreadful feeling of lonlieness reappeared. She began to cry again.

Hideki upon hearing Ayumi's question, began to rub the back of his head, due to being surprised and how fast she opened up. "Umm......... I-I-I don't know, but I'm sure there's plenty, they just need to get to know you." Hideki answered, feeling a bit awkward, but still willing to help . Although he had successfully done his act, Hideki failed to notice the car coming the street and was hit, rolling over the too of the car.

Although he had successfully done his act, Hideki failed to notice the car coming the street and was hit, rolling over the top of the car.

"Oh my God!! Somebody help! Somebody help! Please someone call for help!" Saya shouted, seeing the boy that pushed her out of the way get hit by a car. She was beginning to panic now, looking around more frantically.

"SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!" She yelled at the top her lungs, the cars finally starting to stop.

Hideki joked with a small weak smile, the pain beginning to overwhelm him. "Please, just check on her." And with that Hideki passed out, the sound of sirens not far away.

Seeing the boy stop moving, she began to panic, with tears in her eye, starting to walk towards the boy and the girl that was near him.

"I-Is he dead?" Saya asked, her tears still not stopping.

"What have I done?"
