Good, because the Gears are the spell/trap killing archetype for monsters and now I can use a card that has earned me infamy when facing people with trap holes.

Well It's not like they are too necessary.It allows you to build a stronger strategy,allowing you to use more spell cards and monsters instead of forcing you to keep up with the others by stacking up your field with traps.

I'm probabaly just going to play a denial strategy- keep their traps off the playing field and useless while my monsters destroy theirs.

I actually did understand your Athena and I just said EFF Fairy's and sent my field to the GY.
And I said the above to make you understand what I did because you didn't do anything.

You targeted Athena after destroying your Field Spell, so that's irrelevant, I'm simultaneously typing up three separate character sheets and lists of abilities, and you said we were RP'ing the duel; now then, have you seen characters in the anime ever not say anything about their cards, and simply leave the effect to be implied and interpreted by their opponent? No. You don't. Specificity is a virtue.

Especially since your last move was "fine I manually switch my monsters to defense,you go".

If I didn't RP out Ancient Fairy Dragon's effect does that mean that the field wouldn't be destroyed,and when If I returned it and chanted out the effects like I normally did would it be okay?

Just because you don't want to lose your last precious Athena to me,It's no reason to make bad excuses.

Also,you used Swords of Revealing Light that turn,and you didn't notify me IC-ly.Does that mean they're not activated?-Great!

I will admit, I have NO clue what "EFF" mean, I just assume it's "effect" so, if you care to tell me otherwise then go ahead

And it's just a game. I've lost every IC duel in the academy and I am bound to do so now (mostly it's because I pick archetypes hard to configure )

EDIT: To be fair, I had a shitty day lol, so I guess my patience levels are up right now. Not fun when your bike becomes a dead weight
