My aunt and her family are coming back home in a few hours, so I'll be leaving then and will go back to not having electricity until I move into my own place, probably a week. So, I'll be gone for a while then.

1) I say something.
2) Someone ignores all but one sentence of my post and begins attacking me about something completely unrelated to the topic.
3) I refuse to give an appropriate response so as not to derail the thread into pointlessness.
4) They insult me and claim that I don't have an argument.
5) I refuse to respond.
6) They insult me some more and claim victory.
7) I lose hope in humanity.
