Moving along, we come to my desire to have Erosen grab one of those swords, mostly because he'll likely understand by now that they attune to the natural element you have. In that case, Const, will it turn into a Nature Elemental's weapon rending it useless to him or will it attune to his current Dark Element?

Polearms were the weapon of choice. That increased striking distance was huge, especially against people on horseback. Guisarmes were quite nice in that regard due to the hook. Pretty much the only sword that was actually useful in real combat was the Scottish claymore, and that's because it wasn't like regular swords. It was long and blunt. They didn't bother sharpening it because there was no point. It didn't need to be sharp to smash polearms and crack skulls. If D&D were more realistic, the greatsword would do bludgeoning damage.

She might ne surprised when she sees what Rahdon can do with his swords and magic.
How would the attuned swprds react to Rahdon with his dual elements?

Well he doesn't have much Dark magic in him at the moment anyway for the blade to recognise, right?

Fair enough. On that note, how much longer until we remedy that issue by the way?

I hadn't put as much thought into how Metal enchantments would affect weapons. I suppose they'd make them super ultra sharp, perhaps. Earth gets lots of wee rocks to hover around the weapon and provide additional attack power or something. I'm not sure how to have them react in unison.Ameriganastan wrote:Especially snarky, talking swords that used to be angelles.
