Making a mannequin should be simple enough. Making it move on its own is much much much more tricky.

Then a black blob came out of the lead evil bloke and into the corpse, which came to life and attacked the PC'S. Eric discovered Belle Lame actually talks, since she's an Angelle soul trapped in the sword by strange magic. As the fight went on the thing inside the monster revealed it was Kayarost's ghost, and that he and Lisoette's parents had been killed by Aldraniri's father. The fight ended when Eric cut him in half, and now the group are eating jerky, crackers and canon-breaking grapefruit.
You forgot Charlie being in a coma.
