"Awww poor thing," Polly replied gently fondling his head. "I'm fine.....I'm just disappointed that I didn't get to see my mom......do you know where exactly she is right now?"

Stev got off her and laughed a bit before clicking his fingers which locked the door to the bedroom "There we go" He began kissing her again as he rubbed her leg.

Nothing tackle-hugged Vorvadoss, still crying, she held him tight, and refused to let go, she didn't want to lose him anymore.

Polly walked away from Adam for a moment to wistfully wander about the bloody battlefield in a dreamy state. As she looked around she noticed a couple hugging each other amongst the ruins and wreckage. Going closer, her heart skipped a beat as she saw who they were.

"Mom?.....is-..is that you?" Pauline inquired dazedly as her long shining blonde hair swayed gently at the arrival of a light breeze.

Somewhere in the background behind her, Abel....who had followed his sister quietly, after being turned back to normal by Axodus....watched silently with his hands in his pockets.

Nothing turned to see a fine young woman whom she recognized as one of her daughters, surprised, she replied, "Polly? Is it really you? It's.......been so long.........since I have last seen you.....you were such a beautiful baby....." Then she glanced beyond Polly's shoulder and noticed Abel. A smile touched her lips, "Abel....I remember you as well....lungs of steel that never seemed to run out of air. You are much more quieter now..."

Nothing turned to see a fine young woman whom she recognized as one of her daughters, surprised, she replied, "Polly? Is it really you? It's.......been so long.........since I have last seen you.....you were such a beautiful baby....." Then she glanced beyond Polly's shoulder and noticed Abel. A smile touched her lips, "Abel....I remember you as well....lungs of steel that never seemed to run out of air. You are much more quieter now..."

Polly gave a little laugh of joy before running over to give her a loving hug.

"Oh....how I missed you mother....and....I've been dreaming of doing this for so so long." As she said that, her hug tightened and her eyes became moist alittle.

Abel casually walked closer to them, his hands still in his pockets as he gave his mother a wry smile in response. Deep down inside, he still felt embittered against the fact that his sister was given the powers of an Elder Goddess instead of himself.

It was a strange feeling to hug someone else, other than Vorvadoss.....Nothing wasn't use to such a social interaction with others, even if it was family. It also felt a little awkward, since both her and her daughter looked the same age, but that was simply because Nothing never aged. She gave a hug back and replied, "It's a little hard to be like this....physical and seen.....it takes up so much of my power just to be like this.....you don't know what luxury you have, to be able to be seen, touched or sense by anyone who comes near you....me....not even my own children can see unless I force myself visible, and that consumes much of my power....." She turned to Abel. "You know what its like to be an outcast, what it feels like to feel as if nothing you'll ever do will ever compare to those around you, that all your feats go unnoticed.....but there is no purpose in envying others, only loneliness and despair await you if you follow that path, believe me, my child, I know better than anyone."

Polly snuggled her face into her bosom before mumbling shyly, "So....this would probably be the first and last time we'll be seeing you again.......is it mom?" She hoped against hope that the answer she'll hear wouldn't be a yes.

Abel hung his head down for a moment. Then clearing his throat he said quietly but grimly, "Lets just go Polly.....she doesn't need us anyway."

Polly cast him a pleading look, but reluctantly took his held out hand before parting ways with her beloved mother. As he turned around though, Abel paused for a while, whilst Polly continued walking on with a tearful face. Looking over his shoulder, he inquired in a soft but choked voice as if he was trying to control his tears. "When......when will we see you again?"

"Soon.....in six years time. You will have need of me then." she took a few steps forward and kissed both of them on the forehead. "I love you, see you then."

To Polly's amazement, Abel kissed his mother back on the cheek and whispered, "I love you too."

She in turn did the same, followed by a loving hug, and when all was cried and done, both brother and sister walked away, hand-in-hand, with Polly occasionally glancing back with a wistful face.

Vorvadoss watched them walk off then turned back to Nothing "Maybe we should go now" He took hold of her hands and smiled before kissing her on the edge of the mouth "I own part of Genesis Palace. You can live with me" He said with a tilted head as he moved his hands away from hers and wrapped them around her waist.
