Plasma, from the other side of the door, yelled loudly. "What the hell is going on in there? Did you guys find prisoners too?" He stopped, thinking they may not hear him. "Hold on!" He cut through the door and saw the purple gas. "You might want to get out of there."

Scarecrow gave him a pat on the back.

"Thanks jello-man. No, didn't find any prisoners, though if there is any they can go now."

"What the hell was taking you so long anyway? The gaurds weren't hard to take out."

Colonel Mayfield noticed Conall walking up behind him and he stood up.

"Conall, any idea what the hell's going on in there?"

Darin
Darin immediately put on the gas mask. Still, he had inhaled some of the gas before he got it on, a guy has to breathe. Darin made his way out of the room, but he found it difficult to move. Darin was also developing a headache by the time he got out of the room, where he saw Alex, Conall, and the Colonel. "Hey guys, I'm not feeling to well. Something tells me that gas was not safe." Darin said.
Cedric
Cedric though it was funny when this 'corrosive' gas was released. He watched as it did absolutely nothing to his armor. Oh the joys of futuristic tech. Cedric found it even funnier when the door was cut open. This guy's little 'master plan' was falling apart around him! Half the people here didn't give a damn, and everyone else can just leave! Cedric just walked over to the door to leave. This was fun. Especially the gas part, things almost got tense for a moment. Almost.

Three Alien heavies came out of the wood works, they readied their Plasma cannons to fire when two of them went down for no reason, the sound of a war cry was heard and a paladin with a phase Ōdachi came charging at the Third Heavy and stabbed him in the stomach. Two Rotoss assassins uncloaked and the Paladin sheathed his Odachi. More Rotoss came out of the woodworks, The Ashigaru armed with Phase Naginata's and Yari's and wearing jingasa's, Warriors armed with Phase katana;s and one noble, the Rotoss bowed and walked up to the humans, Sniffing them and bringing their hands out for handshakes.

Colonel Mayfield noticed Conall walking up behind him and he stood up.

Conall stood to attention and saluted. "Sir, they've after releasing a toxic gas on the heroes inside. Shade and Scarecrow responded to my call. Nicole looked coldly at the building. "Sir I insist I go inside. My helmet will protect me for a good hour and allow me to breath."

He turned to see Darin running out of the building. "Yay! They told us that!"

Turning his attention to the Rotoss, he returned his hand.

"What's this all about?" He asked, noting they were not trying to cut his head off. He signaled his men to lower their weapons.

Scarecrow went over and kneeled beside Darin.

"Shit, you ok buddy?"

"Yea, I'm fine." Darin said. "It's just a bit difficult to move, a bit of a headache, that's all." While Darin was saying that, Cedric was walking out of the room and happened to hear that. "That's because it was Tetrodotoxin. Modified to be nonlethal but you may experience paralysis, headaches, ataxia, and there is a chance of seizures. Not fun." Cedric said in a irritatingly calm way. Darin paused for a moment. "Well shit."

"No, no, I'm good. I just need to get back to base. I'll just take a medical bed for a little while." Darin said. "You just go make sure everyone else is feeling fine." Darin said as he awkwardly stumbled his way to the jeep.
Cedric
Well, thanks for the help back there. Now I get to look all smart and stuff. Cedric though. Yea yea, you're welcome. The AI responded. Overall, Cedric was a bit dissapointed in the mission. There was some resistance from some well trained troops, but there wasn't a lot of resistance. Cedric was hoping to spend the day carving through endless, not just a few minutes.
Luis
When the gas started coming from the walls, Luis did his best to hold his breath. He made the obvious assumption that one should not inhale a strange gas. Still, he wasn't capable of holding his breath the entire time, and the little mask he had was no gas mask. Luis eventually had to take a breath or three. Luis didn't know what the gas would do, but he assumed that it wasn't in his best interest.

Scarecrow went back in and dragged Luis out, who was still there.

"The hell're you doing, get out here!"

Shade went with Scarecrow, and looked in. Jackson and his goons were gone. She went back out and informed Colonel Mayfield.

"They bolted, and gassed us on the way out. A couple of us got exposed, but it's non-lethal."

Mayfield nodded.

"Good work Jessica. Should've known it was a trap... everyone, we're heading back. We'll make 'em pay later. Move out!"

Darin, Luis, and Cedric
Darin managed to get himself in the back of the jeep and take a seat. Luis, on the other hand, was having a bit more trouble. He wasn't in amazing physical condition and was a bit smaller than Darin, and as a result the toxin was effecting him much faster. Still, he got himself into the back of the jeep. Cedric, on the other hand, just stood outside the facility, waiting for everyone to get out first before he went out on the road. He was planning to do the same thing he did on the way there, trying to keep the road clear.

Scarecrow climbed back into his jeep, lifted his mask and whipped his face.

"Jessica, if we ever make it back to Georgia, I'm nailing my feet to the ground."

Shade, for once, agreed.

First a bulbous nose followed a trailing body which had been mostly burnt away by weapon fire. A Rotoss cruiser to Conall's eyes as he gazed on. "Dear god..." Nicole whimpered. Conall glanced at the sky again. A burning wreckage came tumbling down, bursting into archaic flame and exploding as it collided with the city below. "Alex! Can you see this!?"

"Conall, if you could, fly a 'lil higher and see if you can spot anything unusual up there."

Conall brought the Sparrowhawk to a high enough level where he could get a visual. He gasped at the sight as a Rotoss cruiser slowly came into view. It was slowly descending and was clearly damaged. "Alex, we have a visual. A Rotoss cruis--" He was cut short by a glancing shot which cut the ship in half.

The Sparrowhawk struggled to reorientate itself. Nicole felt like getting sick. Conall continued to speak. "That was a Rotoss cruiser... And an Endless orbital cannon."

[Galnius]

Plasma stared open mouthed at the destruction. "What....the.....FUCK?????" He looked to the jeeps driver. "Get us to camp NOW!"

"They got fuckin' orbital cannons set up?!" Scarecrow said in disbelief.

"Thank God we don't have any ships like the Rotoss do... they're screwed." He continued.

Shade simply watched the skyline light up.

FIFTEENS MINUTES LATER

Camp Jefferson

Colonel Mayfield hopped out of the jeep, binoculors in hand. Holding his breath, he zoomed in the on the fighting above.

"Jesus Christ..." He muttered.

"I guess it's a good thing we don't have much aircraft..."

Mayfield turned to his men as they exited their jeeps.

"Listen up boys, we still have plenty of time left in the day. Thoughts on attacking those cannons later?"
