Alex put his head on Jessica's shoulders.

"How does who do what now?" He asked.

"Well at the moment I thing he is making out with Neko. I mean really, he is generally broke, not exactly a supermodel, and at the moment can't even fight! Yet he always gets the girl! What does he have that I don't? You know, besides a concussion."

Alex shrugged.

"I'm dead broke, I look like something the cat dragged in and I'm bipolar, but I got the girl." He bragged.

Jessica looked at Plasma blankly.

"God help me."

[Galnius]

Jack frowned. "Well, that's unfortunate. Perhaps I could...." His voice trailed off. "Do you want to remember something? A life perhaps?"

Savior thought for a moment, He nodded yes and spoke "Sure, I would like to remember anything."

Jack gave a kind of nervous smile. To be honest,he had never gone into someone's head like this... he didn't like to do things like this. It seemed like an invasion of their privacy, but he supposed if the guy wanted to.... "Okay. This'll be... fun." Jack grabbed his head and went through his conscous. He imagined his patient's mind as a book. He took out pages, put them back in order, basically putting everything as it should. He let go of the man's head.

"That do anything for ya?"

Alex chuckled.

"It's uh, it's a long story." He noted honestly. It really was a long story.

"And I love Jessica's parents! Maybe her mom a bit more..." He smiled, then winced. He probably should have dropped her parents when they were missing like this.

"Yeah, well, she isn't exactly normal. My guess was she first started dating you to piss off her parents. I should know, I am a bratty rich kid too."

Alex chuckled.

"It's uh, it's a long story." He noted honestly. It really was a long story.

"And I love Jessica's parents! Maybe her mom a bit more..." He smiled, then winced. He probably should have dropped her parents when they were missing like this.

Plasma, being the clueless prick he is, continued. "HAHAHA, yeah well, I hope so. I doubt Shade wants to end up like me." He looked at his "blood". "You think that is the problem? You know, being a bratty rich kid that cuts himself?"

"If I had a superpower, it certainly would not be turning myself into goo." She replied dryly.

"I know what I'd have!" Alex replied with an evil grin.

His voiced cracked as he yelled. "I do NOT turn into goo! This stuff cuts down even the weirdest armor! That, and it mutates everything else!"

"If I had a superpower, it certainly would not be turning myself into goo." She replied dryly.

"I know what I'd have!" Alex replied with an evil grin.

Plasma was about to respond then stopped, changing tone. "I think I know why I can't get a girlfriend...."

As Cedric made his way around the base, his AI friend spoke up again. Hey, here's a thought. What if, instead of just aimlessly walking around the base, you tried to meet some of the people you're going to be working with? Cedric was only slightly irritated by this, as she had made this kind of suggestion a lot of times before. Cedric wasn't very interested in this, though. You know, I have a thought for you. What if you shut the hell up? I mean, it's not like we're going to be here long. Cedric replied. He once again heard a sigh from the other side. I don't think this sunk in when we talked about it. We're going to be here for DECADES. DECADES. Not days, DECADES. Besides, in this world there are actually heroes who are on your side. Now it was Cedric's turn for a sigh. You aren't going to drop this, are you? The AI gave a little chuckle. Nope, not that I have a good reason. Cedric was rather irritated by this response, but he knew she wouldn't shut the f%@* up until he did talk to someone. Fine, mom, I'll go make some new friends. Asshole.

Cedric eventually saw a small group of people who he recognized from some of the information his AI ally had dug up. There's some people. Go talk to them. She said. How about you shut the fuck up? How about that? You ever considered that? I don't think you have. Cedric heard the all to common sigh coming from the AI. Okay, I get it. You don't like people, but here's the thing. Now, we're on a planet where only a portion of the inhabitants want to stab you in the throat, as opposed to all of them. On our Earth, you had a damn good reason to be an antisocial prick. Everyone was an ass there. Here, though, you don't have any excuse, and I'm not going to stop acting like I'm your mother until you go talk to people. Cedric was getting irritated now, mostly at the fact that she had a point. He was rather used to a world where anything that wasn't trying to kill him was trying to steal his sword, then kill him. The idea of people not trying to kill them was relatively foreign, though not completely, and the idea of trying to befriend them? The was something Cedric wasn't exactly interested in. Still, he knew she was right, so he walked up to them, ignoring the fact that one of them had just cut themselves or something. "So, I uh...don't think we've met yet. I'm Cedric." He said rather awkwardly.
[TL;DR: I took two paragraphs to make Cedric walk up to Scarecrow, Jessica, and Plasma, and tell them his name.]

"Beats me, I figured you might be able to increase your length." Alex giggled out, then laughed like an idiot.

"Told you you're disgusting." Jessica dryly insulted.

"B-but seriously, why?" Alex managed, whiping a tear from his eye.

Jessica only raised an eyebrow at the newcomer.

Cedric didn't really understand the sex joke, having not been there for the whole time. Instead, he just sort of stood there awkwardly, wondering what the hell was going on. All of this is your fault. Cedric thought. Yea yea, shut up and deal with it.

May quickly grew bored of Jack's work with the strange man with such power. All he had shown her is that she wasn't strong enough, that she needed more training. More work. She went to a clearing and made a crater with a radius of 5 meters around her. She chucked boulders from the crater, throwing them far from the base, out of view of anyone with normal vision.

Cedric nodded. Would you look at that, something I can relate to in these people! I honestly never saw that coming! Cedric thought in response to the 'not much of a talker' comment. Yea yea, good for you, but you're not done yet. the AI said. Damn Cedric thought in response. He then looked at Shade. "Well, it's good to meet you too."

"So, what're you in for?" Alex joked.

Plasma spoke up. "How much did that tech cost?" Vengeance still stood there, listening to everyones thoughts.

"Well, right now I'm just here to get this job done and go home." Cedric said. It was as close to the real answer as Cedric wanted to get. Then, another guy asked about his armor. "Well hello to you to. As for this armor, it costed a lot, but not in money."
