"Yea, bye." Cedric said. It didn't take a genius to tell he didn't want to talk. Cedric just looked up at the sky. Cedric just took a deep breath and removed his mask. He took the next few moments to just look at the sky and actually feel the fresh air. After a few short moments, Cedric put his mask back on and walked away.

Jack sneaked up behind Cedric, and put his arm around his shoulder. "Why hello there!How are you today!" He needed to get his mind off of Alex for a bit. He was feeling guilty about the whole ordeal in the first place.

Cedric was immediately uncomfortable with the arm around his shoulder and pushed the man's arm off. "Uh, I'm doing...good, you?" Cedric said. Well...awkward to say the least. Cedric thought.

Colonel Mayfield only blinked at the explosions, then turned to Conall.

"You're doing good son. But be a bit more careful. If you need help taking down more cannons, just ask."



Scarecrow sucked some of the blood off of his lips and approached Napalm.

"Just makin' sure, you're one hundred percent, right buddy? Can't take no chances with one of our best men."

"Can't take any." Shade corrected his grammar. She was a bit of a grammar nazi...

"I speaks hows I wants." Scarecrow mocked, exaggerating his accent.

"Then don't stick me in a huge helicopter when a giant orbital cannon is out there." He grinned. "So you need a lift Yoshiko?"

As you can guess, that didn't work out very well." Cedric said. He felt that he did a good job of telling the story with as few details as possible.

"Hell yea I did. It's sorta funny how they try to make me into some kind of weapon for them, and I end up just killing all of them." Cedric said. He also found it funny because he really enjoyed killing aliens. It was a good way to relieve stress.

Jack cracked his neck. "Oh. Well...." Jack put his hand of his chest. No not them yet. He thought quietly to himself. He moved his hand from his chest nonchalantly. "I grew up with a family of supers."
