And the Scrolls have foretold, of black wings in the cold, that when brothers wage war come unfurled!
Alduin, Bane of Kings, ancient shadow unbound, with a hunger to swallow the world!
Map of Tamriel. Want it in a bigger? Hi.
4th Era, 201. 200 Years after the Oblivion Crisis
The Dragons have returned. Their ancient Lord, Alduin, has returned to the world once again, out on regaining his rule on the Mortal Realm. The High King of Skyrim has just been slain, causing a massive civil war across the Province of Skyrim.
It are dark times for the Empire indeed. The Aldmeri Dominion is picking it apart, and the Imperial Legion is spread thin, even more so with Skyrim's civil war. It is these days that the fate of Tamriel will be decided.
As you can already guess, this is a Character-driven Elder Scrolls Roleplaying game. Note that it isn't just limited to the province of Skyrim, just to the continent of Tamriel!
You can be any (major) race you want, including Dremora.
The rules are pretty basic.
-No godmodding
-No killing other people's characters without their permission
-Be original. No RP'ing as characters already existing in the Lore.
-In the end, my word, and the co-op's words (when I will name one) are law.
-Oh, and have fun!

Head to the OOC thread to jump in.

Solitude, Province of Skyrim, 4E 201
Ildoni Amatius, the Winking Skeever
Ildoni Amatius sat at a table in Solitude's inn, the Winking Skeever, his orders hidden between his equipment. He had just been sent away from the only Penitus Oculatus outpost in Skyrim, at Dragon Bridge. He wasn't allowed to read his orders until he was somewhere nobody would notice him, and absolutely not in Dragon Bridge. So, he had gone to Solitude's best (and only) inn. He had already rented a room. It was probably some mission that was highly secret: he had been given tons of money and some other equipment for it. It was turning night time, and most people left the inn, so he decided to go to his room. An hour or so later, he grabbed his orders, carefully packed between the rest of his stuff. He opened them, and read it. It would apparently be quite a while before he could return..
