So what exactly is the civil war situation in Skyrim, who controls what?

Also are the populations of citys and provinces much larger in this then in game? I mean really I hate how each province has like at the most 500 people. And thats probably a overstatement.

For example would a big city like Solitude have hundreds if not thousands of residents?

Well Whiterun was taken by the Stormcloaks and Riften by the Imperials. And I just captured Ulfric Stormcloak and am taking the Windhelm and putting myself as Jarl who supports the Imperials.

Also what about Falkreath? Imp or Cloak?

Hmm, I am gonna rally a army and then go up to Solstheim and build a fort. Then when my army is trained enough I will continue to build a army there, burn down Raven Rock, send skirmishers to harass the new Imperial Windhelm.

Then with the Imperials stalled with my skirmishing I will have killed or kicked out all non Nords from Solstheim. Then I will decide if I want to send my army in the capture Windhelm or just create my own kingdom back in Solstheim.

Rally an army? Firstly that is expensive and you wouldn't, unless you were in some position of power, have the money to do that. And three by attacking Raven Rock you would have declared war Morrowind. And you need boats. I have boats. And you cannot use them. And last I checked Windhelm has the only boat that goes to Solstheim. And Solstheim is poor and relies on trade. Trading with Windhelm and Morrowind is good. But you cannot have either if you take over the Island. And how do you expect to build this army? You are going to burn down Raven Rock and leave yourself with an ash infested, deserted Island? You plan has many flaws.

Okay. And what is pop of Eastmarch? Maybe 10 or 15 thousand? And I would also like to point out to Occeania and Pavlo that by attacking Windhelm you are declaring war on the Mede Empire, much, much stronger than you. Better more thought into these things And Dutch are Falkreath and Markarth still pro-empire and apart of Imperial Skyrim?

Seeing as I'm really close I could do just that. Elisisef is still alive, and Titus Mede II had no heirs.

Okay. Good. I will vote for her and win some brownie points. And okay. That creates a moment of opportunity. Though I doubt I would be able to become Emperor.
