Ray was about to attempt to try and kill Albert, but the sudden disappearance of the flag caused him to cause to his senses. His fury and rage gone, all of his attention went to his highly damaged face.
"Aagghh!", Ray began to scream as he began to clutch where his left ear once was. He had no knowledge of how it had occurred, but the blood going over the burn wounds occupied his thoughts as he rolled on the ground.
