She kept reading.

At this point, there was no more clear writing, though there were seemingly nonsensical instructions and graphs. At first they had been written calmly in an average black print, but seemingly as of the writing of the last entry, several red marks and edits had been made all over them in a rather urgent manner.

Giovenith nodded, also grateful for the raptors' help, but eager to get home for some sleep.

"Pipa Michelle, what's up with Gio!?", Torii asked. "This is all weird!"

She flipped through some more pages to see what was written.

Albert couldn't help but laugh that Ray had said that right in front of Dora. "Wow, Ray....." Was all he was able to think of saying at that. He hugged his boyfriend and continued chuckling.

"Sizing you up, naturally," she drawled. "Just in a different way from most of the people I do it to."

She slipped off her sundress, leaving herself in a tank top (after all, it wouldn't do to be improperly dressed in front of one's boss), and held it out to Albert. "Try it on!"

"Sweetie, you don't have to. Dora's just seeing if you would," Ray tried to comfort Albert, although he was surprised at his stubbornness. "It's just something we'd do together, no one would have to look at you in public in a dress. You'll be fine."

"Same. Night," Giovenith made a b-line for her own room.

Torsiedelle wrote:"Don't give me that look, Pipa Michelle.", Torii said. "No offense."

She picked up the note and opened it up to read it. She wanted to learn more about this.

The paper indeed seemed to read like a report, complete with title and all:

"On the Golem-

In folklore, a golem is an animated being made from inanimate matter, and given life through mystical means, usually to do servile work for it's creator. They are characterized by having no free will, limited intelligence, usually little to no speaking abilities, and normally posses abilities such as super strength in order to carry out whatever their master orders them to do. The process of creating a golem is, however, a highly difficult one, and can only be achieved by those with very high spirituality and practice.
When bringing a golem to life, the mystic who is doing the work is generally believed to be trusted enough by God to "borrow" the ability to endow some new, once lifeless object with life. However, because the golem is created by a human and not by a god, this is what prevents them from being "real people" with souls, intelligence, and free will. A golem is an "uncultivated" or "unfinished" person, not meant to be finished (and indeed un-finishable by a mortal), thus, many legends about the creation of "first humans" involve the creations starting off as golem-like, before being endowed with "true life" by their gods. In the Talmud, Adam, first many in Abrahamic beliefs, was said to be made of clay and initially a golem before being given a real soul. Similarly, there are other examples, such as Pandora of the Greeks, who were created in a similar fashion like an object before being made "real."
The "recipe" for what makes a real human, human, is not totally known, though generalizations and theories have been put forth. Many of them simplify and come down to three parts, the "physical" (body, shape, looks), a kind of soul, spirit, or intelligence, and free will. The golem only have one of these things, and this is what separates them from being a true person. Sourcing.
However, with the coming of science and all it's newfound glories (we have seen many born of it's ways), we recognize that definitions may need to change someday. Beyond that...

You, Giovenith-Serina, are not a mortal mystic."
Apparently the paper had ended it's report here and turned into a letter. "You are a godling, and a godling of Creation at that. When you make something, it does have the ability to be real, but as of right now you are far too young to be able to give out souls, and this is why your golem is still just that, a golem. But she is close, dangerously close to being real because YOU made her, and anygod with the ability could easily give her the extra shove-step to being real. And we can not have that. There is a time to make humans, and that time is right now, we can not just have new, unrelated-to-anyone flesh and blood running willy nilly about. It is too difficult to explain the details of why to you at the moment, but there is a balance to all of this, and she would harm that balance.

I do not know what to do with her or you at the moment. So you best think of something if you want things to go your way."
