[The New Velociraptor Empire]

Jacob panicked more than a little, and grabbed the shotgun. After fumbling for a few moments, since he wasn't used to using a weapon, he blindly fired in the direction of the Camelion. He hoped that he had actually used a warning shot, and not just shot it directly. He wasn't sure if Neil would get angry about that or not.

The tongue retracted back up unto the ceiling and a thumping was heard as the chameleon fled, dripping blood to the floor. "Nice shooting Tex', I think you grazed it. Quite hard to hit something that can camouflage." Neil complemented.

"Oh my god, Jacob!" said Giovenith, having a bit of a panic attack over the Chamelion. "What is going on?!"

"It is hard to keep those chamelions in their cages. Harder to deal with then the stripy tigooses." Neil explained nonchalantly.

[Erucia]

"Might be!" Albert agreed, purring slightly from the petting. He quickly kissed Ray on the nose. "Lets go then!" Albert declared, taking Ray's hand and heading for the front door of the apartment.

"Sheesh, so pushy. Why am I with you again?", Ray teased as he followed along. "Oh yeah, you've got a cute face."

Pippa-Michelle gave an unconcerned shrug.

"Ggrrrr, Pipa Micheeeeellllle!"

Torii bounced up and down. "Is something wrong?"

"First," said Pippa-Michelle. "Firrrrrrst... first. Madman escapee, running free. 'We've become God's madmen, all of us!' "

"Then how did I manage to hurt it?" Jacob asked, a bit confused. "I literally have never held a gun before that...."

"Gosh, you blush an awful lot. Would it help if I could persuade you once more to wear some girly clothes?", Ray giggled and teased at Albert, scratching at the back of his neck.

"No?" said the golem, questioningly.

Volturius slowly awoke from his rather merry slumber with a belly stuffed with blood and a mind happily awash with intense emotions that remained from his romp with Tipper. His red eyes blinked awake, glowing unnaturally as he enjoyed the pleasant view Tipper presented him with. Finally stirring from the rest, Volturius craned his head to the side, observing his armor was scattered about, albeit all present. Shrugging, the Chaos Raptor noted to gather it upon getting up, but didn't care much for his lack of clothing. Mortals that complained were mortals that were tortured, devoured, then hung up as an example.

Turning his attention back to Tipper, Volturius cleaned his large canines of blood before speaking.

"What is this about a temple?" The astartes asked in a rather content manner.

"A temple. We need one here." She traced her finger down the thin trail that started at his navel. "Not anything fancy. Just a place where we can remain within the city's laws but still promote the benefits of perfection." She lifted her finger just before it reached his weapon. "Let me think about it some more. The Sight has worn off and now my mind is dulled again."

She stepped away from him and sought his wingtip. "Shall we go home?" She wasn't the least bit concerned with her own nudity.

"Agreed. Unlike the other of the four, ours is most easily promoted and advertised through various means. While 'Souls for the Soul Eater' might not be viewed kindly by the denizens of this city- indoctrination can even be simple music, food, or many other luxurious and pleasurable things. Maybe a small concert hall could fit the requirements you seek?" Volturius inquired as he picked himself off the ground and rose beside Tipper. He then scanned the surrounding ground for his armor, quickly locating all of the pieces and memorizing their locations.

"Should I gather my armor, or is it possible for us to simply task a Daemon with the job while we return?" Volturius asked Tipper, not wanting to go through the hassle of donning his armor. He now missed the servitors and artificers that normally helped him with the job- understanding fully why knights of old had squires.

[Erucia]

That made Albert blush even more. "Why would I wear girly clothes?" He asked, leaning his head against Ray's shoulder.

"Because you'd look cute in them!", Ray tugged at Albert's shoulder.

"As far as I know, Pippa-Michelle is not close to having the push. Mom wouldn't do it, neither would the Janitor, and I can not," it read. "Maybe, actually, mom is correct. If I were to find an alternate solution, it might be safer for her as well, no telling what kind of breeder-obsessed weirdos out are thinking up of plans related to this, or what the outcome... don't want to get in trouble with some kind of human maintenance program or whatever either. She will remain as she is now, for now, I suppose. Will think for tomorrow."

"Makes sense." Jacob responded with a sigh. "Well, thank you Neil for helping out Yuri." He sighed again, and gave a wave to the raptor.

Torii smirked. "So...she's trying to keep you...dumbed down?"

She kept reading.

At this point, there was no more clear writing, though there were seemingly nonsensical instructions and graphs. At first they had been written calmly in an average black print, but seemingly as of the writing of the last entry, several red marks and edits had been made all over them in a rather urgent manner.

Giovenith nodded, also grateful for the raptors' help, but eager to get home for some sleep.

"Oh, hello Dora." Albert said, waving to her. "What are you doing here?" He hoped she hadn't heard their conversation, because that would be quite embarrassing. Especially if she had heard the last thing they had been discussing.

"Thanks for helping as well, Gio. Let us just hope that she does not guess that it was Octavian who killed her. Because it would be best for us to try to get this feud between them over, so they don't end up causing more problems...."

"Then would you like it if I wore a skirt for you?", Ray blushed yet giggled at the thought of embarrassing Albert even more.
