Personification Life - IC Part 7.5 [open]

Jacob blinding ran for the door of his apartment, still screaming. After almost tripping over his sofa and making it through the open doorway to the foyer, Jacob still didn't stop, quickly unlocking the door that led to the hallways of the building itself. He threw the door open, and accidentally ran right into Natiya.

Blossom was only feet behind him. After she leaped out of the apartment, she grabbed Jacob's ankle in her mouth and viciously bit into it, trying to suck the blood from his leg. She was hissing and screaming all the while.

Katya shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't seen Dora in a while. It's kind of sad..."

Yoshi bit his lip in response, not wanting to admit how he felt for Luce's sake. He didn't want to offend the Conservator.

"If you want to see her, my best advice is go find her. Or in your case," he addressed Yoshi, "she'll find you." He smiled kindly.

"Well, yeah. That sword seems to work right." Bran said. "Which one doesn't work right?"

"This one!" Deader produced the Sword of Love. "I was poking the two over there - Dora's Chosen and her own chosen - and they didn't try to sweep each other off their feet and go riding off into the sunset."

[Urran]

Yoshi wasn't sure how to take Luce's comment. He chose to nod "Um..I-I-I um..." was the only verbal response he could get out. He paused and looked around. "D-d-did anyone else hear a w-w-wolf?" he asked nervously.

[New Aksarben]

Albert blushed at Ray's comment. "We do have heli-," He hiccuped, then continued, "-copters, of course! They just have hover technology now, instead of rotors like in this era..... And most people do have animal traits, but there are a few full humans, like a few thousand. Feline traits used to be the most dominant, but now canine are. Feline is still the second most common though."

"He he! Ah, man, it's like a teenage fangirl's paradise in men!", Ray laughed back, with the alcohol starting to get to him. It appeared that he lacked alcohol resistance from the sounds of it. "'Course, won't let them touch you! We'll use those hover....hover...hovercopters of yours."

Albert was much less drunk, because he had thousands of years to build up a resistance. He was already on his fifteen glass of his wine, and only a bit drunk. Aksarben wine was much like wine from Ancient Rome, and had a much higher alcohol content than normal wine did. It also had some extra herbs and spices in it for flavoring. Most people would dilute the wine before drinking it, but Albert preferred not to. "Well, maybe I could show you my nation sometime, Ray. You'd like it there, I'd think!" Albert said, giggling, before kissing Ray on the lips for a minute or two passionately. He would normally be embarrassed to do so, but was getting drunk and couldn't get embarrassed as easily.

Jacob screamed as Blossom bit into his leg, and began trying to kick her off of him while trying to continue to crawl away from her. "HELP!" He shouted, hoping that someone could help him. He didn't want to die again.

"Maybe.", Katya said. She looked to Deader and Luce. "Can either of you get Dora to visit tonight?"

"Hmm, that's strange, why isn't it working?" Bran asked with a shrug.

Natiya screamed when Blossom jumped out of the door. She had Jacob on top of her, so she couldn't reach her pistol.

Blossom began to try and drag Jacob down the hall, until one of his kicks smacked her in the face. She let go and looked surprised, not hurt or phased, just surprised. Jacob was crawling away but Blossom stayed and licked the floor where a pool of the sweet liquid had formed. It would only distract her for so long.


Yoshi nodded in agreement with Katya. But he couldn't help but wonder why he had heard a wolf.

Most people would dilute the wine before drinking it, but Albert preferred not to. "Well, maybe I could show you my nation sometime, Ray. You'd like it there, I'd think!" Albert said, giggling, before kissing Ray on the lips for a minute or two passionately. He would normally be embarrassed to do so, but was getting drunk and couldn't get embarrassed as easily.

Dora, as promised, did indeed wolf-whistle.

Chrys lifted her head briefly to check out what was going on, then held up a '1' and a '0' hastily made from duct tape while flopping face-first back down.

"Maybe.", Katya said. She looked to Deader and Luce. "Can either of you get Dora to visit tonight?"

Luce spoke up before Deader could charge Katya the price of a few more Sword-pokings in exchange for doing so. "I'll see what I can do, sure."

Yoshi nodded in agreement with Katya. But he couldn't help but wonder why he had heard a wolf.

He glanced at Yoshi, surprised. Katya seemed to be pulling his strings; just a minute ago he'd either been flustered or angered by the mention of Dora.

Jacob jumped up when he hit blossom, and picked up Natiya. "Run." He said simply, before tearing off down the hallway the best he could do which his ankle hurt as it was. He continued shouting for help, hoping that one of those with powers could help stop the crazed Blossom.

"Why?! What is it?" Natiya shouted in horror as she noticed Blossom lapping up the small pool of blood on the floor. "I get it, let's get out of here!"

[Urran]

The pool of blood now gone Blossom in bat form, repeatedly swooped at Jacob and Natiya, screeching and hissing at the two. She couldn't use her real form and wings in the hall becuase they we too wide.

[Giovenith]

The golem stared blankly back at Torii, having no concept of whether or not her master wanted privacy to a diary or not. The thought didn't seem to exist in her mind. "Errrrmmmmmmkkkkmmmmffffff..." she mumbled, stupidly.

"You're kinda cute.",Torii giggled. She looked at the book again.

An older entry had flipped open, and although it was free of the seemingly crazed interludes, it was still obviously written with stress.

"Sometimes I think about fear, and what it means to harness the power of it. I feel like fear's greatest trick is to make us believe it is hiding in plain sight while it secretly chews us from the inside out. Fear is street-smart, it deals with both sides like a double-edged sword... the world, nay, the universes, they are filled with people who embrace scary ideas. Although there are some who are numb, and wish to see the world burn as they laugh and cry and play a fiddle, I believe it is more common that there are those who follow scary ideas because they believe it makes them scary. And the only reason I can for wanting to be scary, is because they themselves are terrified of the world around them. They believe that if they can become a more fearsome monster, the monsters that plagued them every night in their "weak days" will run away, but fear has merely taken the money of both sides, feeding off the fear of the fool, and the new fear he breeds in others. How much of the power of the corrupt is action, and how much is fear? Maybe the fact that we are unsure is what generates the fear itself. Maybe we truly have little to fear but fear itself, little, but not none... for there are things worth fearing. What makes us brave is deciding which fears protect us, and which incapacitate us, then face them on accordingly.

But I am a godling. I can be crushed with the flick of an angry elder. Maybe I am in no position to debate upon how to conquer fear, but it is better than pretending that the question is not important. I feel, no, I know in the future I will have much to fear, not from what it may do to me, but from what I may learn of it. And it is quite possible that is much more horrifying. But I must march on, it is the only path, and I will go on slaying this amateur fear until I see and rule, learning about true terror. I do not know. There are a few things I fear now."

At the bottom of the page, was what appeared to be splinters of wood taped to the bottom of the page.

Albert blushed a little at the kiss, and said, "I love you so much, Puppy," as he hugged Ray around the chest, laying his head on it and giggling. He then remembered that Dora and Ozzall were here and blushed intensely,

Jacob tried ducking from bat-Blossom, and continued running away from her the best he could, heading for the stairs to head for the lobby. He guessed the raptors or someone else might be able to help them.

[The Orson Empire]

Arkenson would take the pieces of paper, and he ripped them up. Arkenson would chase after the car. He picked it up, and he threw the car several miles into the air, and it went into a nearby building.

(OOC - Orson, city emergency services are OP tools and are to be treated as you would treat regular police/fire/EMS in real life. Conversely, they will react as real emergency services would react, depending on character actions.)

The officer who wasn't driving managed to get off a brief radio code indicating patrol in distress, before the car flew into the building. This triggered emergency dispatch to relay a request for mobilization of one of Bielefeld PD's SWAT teams. In the meantime, the occupants of the target building who had seen the flying car had run off. One of them called for an ambulance for the two policemen.

It arrived and carted them off.

As the SWAT teams arrived, Arkenson would ready his energy cannon. He was prepared to blast anyone that attempted to harm him.

Blossom gave up her petty attacks as a bat. She turned back into her true form, beautiful and deadly. She started jumping off of the walls above Jacob and tackled him to the floor.

JAcob began screaming and flailing, trying to get the blood-crazed vampire off of him. "BLOSSOM! STOP! PLEASE!" He pleaded, trying to keep her from biting him.

As the SWAT teams arrived, Arkenson would ready his energy cannon. He was prepared to blast anyone that attempted to harm him.

A helicopter overhead broadcast a surrender demand. "LAY DOWN YOUR WEAPON AT ONCE OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE."

"I-I-I don't want to see her." Yoshi protested. He was mad at Dora. He was convinced that she wanted him out of the picture, Tsu too.

"But she wants to see you," replied Luce mildly.

[Torsiedelle]

Katya hugged in closer. "But I thought she wanted to talk to you?"

Torii read the diary entry. She was still a little confused and disturbed. "Say...Pipa Michelle...let's go find Gio, okay?"

"Hey, get off of him!" Natiya shouted and kicked Blossom in the head after she tackled Jacob.

Pippa-Michelle nodded happily, delighted at the prospect of getting to see her beloved creator.

Jacob's pleas feel on deaf ears.Because of the flailing, Blossom missed her mark and bit Jacob in the shoulder, but she got a hold and began sucking the blood through hollow tubes in her fangs. That was two bites, but thick one wasn't very deep but her grip was firm. She screamed and let go when Natiya kicked her.


Yoshi reluctantly agreed. "o-okay" He wondered what she would say. His mind went from wanting to borrow a cup of sugar to beating him and dumping him on some deserted island.

[New Aksarben]

Jacob tried to get away while Blossom didn't have a grip on him, but was bleeding badly, and was becoming very weak. "HELP!" He shouted again, hoping that someone would hear them and help them stop the vampire from killing them.
