Since his men had reported Releign apparently having been searching for him earlier, Lance, still having been in the area, had decided to seek out his former protectorate for himself. "I was told that you were looking for me, what is it?" he asked curiously.

He froze up and, seeing Lance, made a really sad yet scared face. Wasn't pretty. Finally he put down Elina, walked to Lance, and hugged him. "Sorry...big bro...." He then ran off, picking up Elina and fleeing.

While this happened the much older nation wasn't quite sure what to think. While he'd been around long enough to see things of the likes, this was certainly something to warm the coldest of hearts, though the old empire would certainly not admit that aloud.

The day had been eventful, though, and he decided to head home.

Yujing appears, dressed in his medical uniform. Accompanying him are legions of doctors, ready to help the treatment of Saur and ND. Some of them are carrying blood transfusion.

"Do you need some assistance?" He offers his aid.

Charon walked into the Citadel. He found Vietnam, and told him to have a seat at a nearby table.

Veitnam was obviusly confused. "Who are, exactly?"

"My name is Charon Gubwa. I exist as...to generalize it, I am Bezutious's brother. In reality, I was separated from him when he entered the Nexus of All Dimensions. I am the evil to his good. The black to his white. The alpha to his omega."

"Okay...so..."

"Bezutious is dead."

With this, he placed three small cylindrical bottles on the table, and sat down across from Vietnam. Each bottle was an equal distance from the next, and each were equally distant from the two "men". Each contained a white spotted pill that was externally identical.
Charon spoke softly.

"'One pill makes you taller and one pill makes you small. But the pill that your mother gave you don't do anything at all.'"

"You're saying that two of these will kill me, and one will not?"

Charon slowly nodded. "And whichever one you take, I'll take the one immediately to its right."

"And if I decline?"

"Then I pick. And I know which one is which."

Vietnam stared at the bottles, then at Charon for a long time. At least twenty minutes went by before he spoke.

"Each bottle is completely identical, and each pill is exactly the same on the outside. None of them have a discernible features, so its a 1/3 chance I'll live no matter what!"

Charon smilled, evily. "I was hoping you'd say that."

Charon then rearranged the bottles so that they were in line with the men. One was close to Vietnam, one was close to Charon, and one was close to Vietnam.

"It's still a 1/3 chance."

"It's not chance, my dear Vietnam, it's chess. Did I give you the good pill? Or did I keep it for me? Or perhaps neither?"

"Regardless, the only thing I have to go by is that."

"You're smarter than I thought. This is my last move..."

Charon then took the pill closest to Vietnam and moved it about six inches to the right.

"Now, did I just move the good pill, or a bad pill?"

Vietnam sat silent. Charon said "Your move." and sat back.

About half an hour later Vietnam picked up the pill in the middle, smashed the bottle and swallowed the pill. He collapsed on the floor seconds later.
His face turned a ghastly white, then blue, and he started to twitch. Charon bent down over him, and said
"If you go chasing white rabbits when you know you're going to fall, call the hooka'h smoking caterpiller when he gives you a call."

Vietnam just looked at him, and watched him not take a pill.

"Just ask Alice when she's ten feet tall."

Vietnam was very confused, so Charon bent over and whispered: "They're all poison."
Vietnam then coughed up some blood and died. Charon placed the remaining two pills near Vietnam's hands so it appeared as if he committed suicide with them. He walked off, unphased.

He stepped off, picked her up, and went to bed with her in his hands. Not fun, is it Master?
