My characters Vigilantism is pretty much summed up with the fact that she doesn't want to be called a Hero, because she thinks being called a Hero for beating people up and possibly seriously hurting them to save others doesn't deserve a label "Hero", so she chose to be a vigilante because she felt that fit better. Doesn't even technically mean she'll break laws if she can help it.
I think Vigilantism can mean all sorts of things if you want it to. Even being a Hero doesn't technically mean you're a good person. I go with the mindset that nobody is black or white. You hear stories about the Hero doing terrible things, and stories about Villains having compassion in some way. I think everyone is "Grey" in some way or the other. Everyone has good and bad in them. Which I think doing that with your own characters a lot of the times makes the characters some of the best if you do that successfully (See the A Song of Ice and Fire series)
I plan to some day have Caitlin have her bad moments. Haven't really had an opportunity to do so yet. Cassie will have some too but she already has had some in her background.
