I had a character that could shape shift in to animals, so at least to some extent, it is. Don't know the limits, though.

For me, shifting into animals is all good, as long as there's some limitation on the ridiculously huge ones.

Shifting into people is a whole different can of worms.

Somehow I have managed to avoid getting sick for like a year 1/2 now. Usually I get sick about 2 times a year...

Doesn't mean I have entirely felt good, though. I've had lots of other problems. But nothing that really feels like being sick...

How many students in this school are depressed or messed up in some way or other because they either exploded half a block or killed half a school? Like half of the..school?

IMO stuff inside the pretty little box.

Which is a realistic depiction. For my writing purposes, Empowered manifesting their powers typically happens in incredibly stressful situations, much like in Xmen. And when that power has a incendiary or explosive component... Hell, even if someone's power is Telekinesis, and they are getting bullied and their power manifests as they are going 'leave me alone leave me alone'? I'm pretty sure there's a Steven King novel on that situation.

Using my own characters as examples here. Markus' healing factor manifested when he shoved Magenta out of the way of a oncoming vehicle and got hit himself (age 13), Magenta's powers manifesting at the same time (age 8 ). Goltia's powers manifested when her, Josh and Grace were attacked by a Terrvain Boar (age 11). Grace's manifested when she was being 'bullied' (read: ambushed in an alleyway outside of school) (age 11). Abigale's teleportation manifested when she was freaking out about a thesis (age 9 and it's worth noting that her intelligence was always there). And lastly, Josh's powers manifested while his home town was being bombarded from orbit by Avaloni Destroyers (age 12).

Magenta crystallized a chunk of roadway, Gotlia reduced the boar to a fine paste (shattering her arm and shoulder in the process), Abigale went flying out a window and Grace... Well, Grace painted the alley red. The only one that didn't freak out destructively was Josh, and that's because his father was with him at the time, who was able to get a lid on the situation.

Finally, here's a reaction GIF for Markus for when he realized that he got fucking screwed by his genes.

Yeah. I should probably have done more related to that then I did. Though I definitely did some under stressful situations...

One of Cassie's powers manifested when she was in her dads car, with her mom, driving somewhere, and her dad was making her stressed and nervous, making herself see the future and the car accident, and her causing it...Making her cause it anyway (Age 15, shortly after her birthday). Caitlin's manifested when she was leaning against a wall I think....And she fell through it and into her front yard...(Age 16?). The others I can't remember if I actually made any noticeable times when and how their powers manifested...

One thing I like about Caitlin and Tyler's relationship, is, unlike most I've done in the past, it was not at all planned. It just sort of...happened. Caitlin ended up talking to Tyler a lot, and it kinda just took off from there. Seriously, I didn't even know where their friendship was going until that Halloween party, where it became pretty obvious that they quite liked each other when they kissed each other on the dance floor (God, that makes it sound cheesy)

Cassie's kind of the same way. Way back when I first started her, my initial expectations with her was that she was going to be the loner at school with little to no friends, probably slowly being eaten away inside by her depression and traumatic memories (Which she still is to an extent), becoming even more and more distant, and her heading in a direction that would go who knows how. I'm not even sure she would have gone to a psychiatrist without the mental push from friends. But instead it turned out that Cassie would get a LOT of friends, even if she doesn't talk to most of them that often. She's got people that are protective of her all over the place, some quite close friends keeping her spirits and strengths up, and so on. Honestly, how things have turned out in her story might very easily have saved her life, because if it went the way I imagined, she'd probably slowly just get worse and worse until she couldn't handle it anymore. And that's saying something since she's still getting worse, in some ways, the way it's going right now...

And Cassie and Josh becoming as close as they have wasn't exactly planned, either (Despite the shipping), because for a long time, they barely even knew each other in the RP, except various passing's in school. And I'm pretty sure they have quite drastically different views on some things. But Cassie in general is too nice for her own good.

Atria, the black goo is pretty much filling the stairwell, which is the only way to get out of the common rooms. Ross would have a very hard time bolting anywhere with it there.

Ross has yet to actually get to the stairs and has no idea where the goo has/hasn't taken over without godmodding.

Because I have way too much time on my hands to do pointless details for my RP characters, here's a list, of stuff that I've listened to so far, that I could see Cassandra physically owning and listening to:
Celtic Frost-Monotheist
Triptykon-Eparistera Daimones
Triptykon-Melana Chasmata (Technically, it wouldn't be released yet RP time wise, but eh)
Behemoth-The Satanist (The same deal as above but whatever)
Dir en Grey-Uroboros
Dir en Grey-Withering to Death
Dir en Grey-Dum Spiro Spero
Unhuman-Unhuman
Gojira-The Link
Gojira-L'Enfant Sauvage
Other Gojira album I listened to I forgot the name of.
Kylesa-Static Tensions
Kylesa-Spiral Shadow
Kylesa-Time Will Fuse Its Worth
Ulver-Bergtatt
Gorguts-Colored Sands
Ajattara-Itse
Ajattara-Kuolema
Ajattara-Tyhjyys
Ajattara-Äpäre
Ajattara-Kalmanto
Ajattara-Noitumaa
Ajattara-Murhat
Neurosis-Through Silver in Blood
Neurosis-Times of Grace
Neurosis-Enemy of the Sun
Neurosis-Sovereign
Neurosis-Given to the Rising
Mastodon-Call of the Mastodon
Mastodon-Blood Mountain
Mastodon-Leviathan
Mastodon-Remission
Baroness-Blue Record
Baroness-The Red Album
Godflesh-Streetcleaner
Godflesh-Songs of Love and Hate
Godflesh-Us and Them
Godflesh-Hymns
Isis-Celestial
Summoning-Old Mornings Dawn
Summoning-Oath Bound
Summoning-Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame
Summoning-Stronghold
Summoning-Dol Goldur
Summoning-Minas Morgul
Wolves in the Throne Room-Celestial Lineage
Wolves in the Throne Room-Black Cascade
Wolves in the Throne Room-Diadem of 12 Stars
Indian-From All Purity (another that technically wouldn't be out at the time of the RP)
Indian-Guiltiness
Indian-Slights and Abuse/The Sycophant
Indian-The Unquiet Sky
Faith No More-Angel Dust
Faith No More-King For a Day, Fool For a Lifetime
Faith No More-Album of the Year
Faith No More-The Real Thing
Tomahawk-Tomahawk
Fantomas-The Director's Cut
Fantomas-Suspended Animation
Fantomas-Fantomas
Cult of Luna-Vertikal
Cult of Luna-Vertikal II
Deftones-White Pony
The Dillinger Escape Plan-Irony is a Dead Scene

Because yes, I establish my RP characters with music tastes. Though the main reason I did a list for Cassandra is because music is a BIG part of her character, more so than any of the other RP characters I have in this RP. Cassie listens to quite a bit of music, but isn't obsessively blowing her eardrums out like Cassandra. Caitlin probably passively listens to some punk here and there. Kira listens to some pop (Who doesn't listen to music at some point?) here and there, Jodelle probably doesn't actually really listen to music, and Andrew might listen to some stuff every now and then.

Cassandra's musical tastes mostly consist of things like death metal and black metal, but I made it so she was pretty much open to anything overall. But it's much more likely you'll find her listening to the more heavy genres of music. Though this list has a lot of sludge metal, industrial metal, and so on, but there's usually SOME heavy aspect to all of these at some point. Could just be vocals, could be musically heavy, whatever.

They are. I prefer Transistor's gameplay, but that's because it has a turn-based feel to it. DON'T LISTEN TO TRANSISTOR'S SOUNDTRACK, though. It's full of plot spoilers.

Name: Victoria Gregory
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Nationality: American
Height: 5 Feet 5 inches
Weight: 120 Pounds
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue
Costume (if any): N/A
Abilities: Superhuman Strength, limited shape shifting abilities (Meaning she can change basic physical features, but cannot impersonate someone’s likeliness based on memory, additionally, she sucks at imitating voices)
Dorm: Hero
Brief Bio: Victoria was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to a detective and a nurse. When she was 3, their Family moved down to Atlanta, Georgia when her dad decided he wanted a change of scenery. She lived in Atlanta up until the vampire invasion, when her family tried to flee to the Northern Georgia Mountains. They ended up with a group of local sheriff’s deputies and State Troopers when they decided to settle down. This lasted for about a week before the vampires caught on to their location and began attacking. It was during one of these attacks that Victoria’s powers manifested, resulting in the deaths of several vampires and the local police securing the area. After this incident, it was recorded on file that she was a super, but due to the fact that she wasn’t dealing with feds or the military, they never really tried to put her in any sort of program to test her powers.
After the vampire conflict was over, they tried to settle back in to normal life, but the growing hostility to supers spread to their area. Due to the fact of her powers being on record, the Academy of the Empowered sent her an acceptance letter, which prompted her parents to ship her off to Hartsfield-Jackson airport for a shuttle ride up.
Hobbies:Civil war reenacting, Filmmaking doing stupid things with cars
Music: Hardcore Punk/Metalcore/Post-Hardcore/Screamo/Whatever they're calling loud music with screaming these days
Bands I'm into: Silverstein, Defeater, The Ghost Inside, Expire, Ice Nine Kills, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Amidst The Grave's Demons
Movies/TV: The Dirties, End of Watch, Sicario, Frozen, True Detective, The Fall, Happy Valley
Literature: Kurt Vonnegut, The Kite Runner, Truman Capote, Southern Gothic

Pseudo-redneck half Jew liberal from the deep south.
