Technically, they're Jaegers. That just irritated me. For example, Crimson Typhoon and Striker Eureka were both Jaegers as prt of the Jaeger program.

I'm always in trouble, even my new manager has agreed that even though I'm on my way to becoming one of the youngest managers in our chain, I somehow have that ability to put myself in trouble more times than not. I'm like that loose cannon you see in all the shows whom somehow has remained in a position of power and even succeeds at progressing up the ranks in spite of how often he fucks up because he actually does improve and he actually is a decent person at what he does.

I'd say the same principle pretty much dictates how I am here on NS in every RP. I tend to get on the bad side of select people easily, but I do it because it just shows how much I appreciate them and their willingness to care about what I do! ^^

As for you Ulv, I doubt you're in any trouble anyways. Mon's pretty lenient and decent given just how much they put up with coming from me alone.

Nanites are important for piloting VALK's but it can be done without them. Doing so places great strain on the pilot and hampers their reaction time and the variety of systems they can use. I think.

Pretty much, so when someone says Proteus has VALKs, nine times out of ten they're being piloted by two people rather than one adolescent due to the difficulty of obtaining UN controlled nanite technology. However that being said there are a few... exceptions.

Seems to me that an organization that's dedicated to infecting the world with a virus would have a significant R&D budget, and the accompanying facilities and equipment. And they fielded 40 VALK's at Cape Town - as a false flag; to wear down the GAMA VALKyries so that their Inquisitors would have a better chance at finishing them off. Anyone who's able to manufacture vast quantities of a catastrophically damaging biological weapon, and field the largest quantities of VALK's of all those organizations using them, has got a hefty research and industrial base. I don't see why they wouldn't also invest some of their efforts in nanotechnology.

Proteus is less "evil Rebellion" and more "Umbrella with mecha".
