WWZ style outbreak probably wouldn't have many varied outcomes. But something like The Walking Dead or early Resident Evil would have been taken out decisively.

Now forgive me if I'm wrong but don't ALL corpses make a vile comeback in The Walking Dead? That's shouldn't so much be an outbreak as it is a massive alteration in how the business of death is conducted. Care homes now employ morning guards to wake up residents, hospitals are patrolled by armed police and cremation is now an emergency service. I suppose that wasn't the story they wanted to write though.

It wasn't so much as the means by which it was treated, it was the suddenness of how it arose, how quickly it changed things, and by how overarching and ultimate it was. Ultimately that was the story they wrote.

It really depends on what you're into. I know there's mine, Athena, and an assortment of others, but sometimes you need to find things by yourself. I'd look around, find something interesting, and go at it.

Or you could start here, but I don't know what Mon will say.

Do you mean for the RP sample in the app? If that's the case, if you don't really have any other RPs to use as a sample your best alternative is to write up a sample post to exhibit your writing ability. The main reason behind that is because as an RP we try to not have people making one sentence posts. It doesn't really help much, plus theres always a lot more details someone can add to a post in terms of what the character is sensing, what theyre feeling etc.

Mhmm and if you don't want to fully reveal the whole first post, just give us probably what you would think is one of the best written parts or sections of it. It just helps us see your writing style and how well you can weave a story.

So Mon's laptop got hit with a huge case of malware (wow, I'm having great luck as of late) and as such I had to take it in after trying everything I could. Guy says if he can get it fixed, then I should have it by Sunday. Until then, I'm on the desktop.

You are having a real run of bad luck.

Which either means it's time for you to start playing the lottery in order to best capitalize on the inevitable turnaround when it comes, or it's time to start avoiding walking underneath ladders and finding a horseshoe to carry around with you.

Well, I think that we should ALL avoid Mon for a while so we don't catch the bad luck.

Also, I realised something yesterday.

Proteus has VALKs.

Only those with the nanomachines can pilot VALKs.

And the people with nanomachines are children or young adults.

Yep.

Nanites are important for piloting VALK's but it can be done without them. Doing so places great strain on the pilot and hampers their reaction time and the variety of systems they can use. I think.

That kind of logic is also usual for anime, which this RP is heavily influenced by, what with all the giant mecha fighting each other.

Anime? What is anime?

In all seriousness, I was having a discussion with a couple of friends and this cropped up:

Me: blah blah blah anime.
Friend 1: Don't watch anime, it's bad for your health.
Friend 2: What's anime? Is it like smoking?

If you buy anime stuff then one could say it's worse than smoking cause anime is expensive as hell x_x

But there's always the option of watching stuff for free online.

Yes, that's why the old method was using two people in one VALK. Kind of like how in an F-15E you have the pilot and the WSO.
