Well it's highly dependant on the quality of the organism and the epidemiology of the outbreak.

WWZ style outbreak probably wouldn't have many varied outcomes. But something like The Walking Dead or early Resident Evil would have been taken out decisively.

Now forgive me if I'm wrong but don't ALL corpses make a vile comeback in The Walking Dead? That's shouldn't so much be an outbreak as it is a massive alteration in how the business of death is conducted. Care homes now employ morning guards to wake up residents, hospitals are patrolled by armed police and cremation is now an emergency service. I suppose that wasn't the story they wanted to write though.

It wasn't so much as the means by which it was treated, it was the suddenness of how it arose, how quickly it changed things, and by how overarching and ultimate it was. Ultimately that was the story they wrote.

It ultimately boiled down to two things: In the event of a George Romero type zombie outbreak, the US Army would be able to beat back the infection. In the even of a Rage virus type zombie outbreak, we're all fucked and we'd be better off eating the bullet to save ourselves the trouble.

It really depends on what you're into. I know there's mine, Athena, and an assortment of others, but sometimes you need to find things by yourself. I'd look around, find something interesting, and go at it.

Or you could start here, but I don't know what Mon will say.

Mhmm and if you don't want to fully reveal the whole first post, just give us probably what you would think is one of the best written parts or sections of it. It just helps us see your writing style and how well you can weave a story.

Nanites are important for piloting VALK's but it can be done without them. Doing so places great strain on the pilot and hampers their reaction time and the variety of systems they can use. I think.

In all seriousness, I was having a discussion with a couple of friends and this cropped up:

Me: blah blah blah anime.
Friend 1: Don't watch anime, it's bad for your health.
Friend 2: What's anime? Is it like smoking?

Nanites are important for piloting VALK's but it can be done without them. Doing so places great strain on the pilot and hampers their reaction time and the variety of systems they can use. I think.

Yes, that's why the old method was using two people in one VALK. Kind of like how in an F-15E you have the pilot and the WSO.
