Josh attempted to use his as a means of blasting his assigned Inquisitor's VALK off-balance back in Seattle.

If a ten-pound slug of metal smashed into a small-ish hill at Mach 10 (the speed at which some of the VALK's railguns are firing projectiles, going by IC events), then there probably wouldn't be any hill left. But, when in doubt, MATH ALL UP IN THIS BITCH!

A 10lb slug is roughly 4.5kg. Mach 10 is 3402.9 m/s. The formula to calculate impact force is E = (1/2 m)v2, where E is the impact energy (measured in kilonewtons), m is the mass of the object (in kilograms), and v is the velocity (meters per second).

E = (1/2 x 4.5kg) (3402.9 m/s)2
E = 2.25 x 11579728.41
E = 26,054,388.9225 kN (kilonewtons)

26,054,388.9225 kN equals approximately 2.61 Mt. That is an energy yield equivalent to the nuclear weapon test that made France the fifth state to obtain nuclear capability. Of course, only a fraction of that energy is going to transfer into the target, but I still think that's more than enough to blow up a small hill.

Hey, look, Physics 10 was actually useful for something! :lol:

So I may or may not have slipped and fell onto a knife which may or may not have cut into my head, which probably may or may not have resulted in me going to the ER to get staples in my head again...

Silly Mon. Heads are not for cutting, they are for thinking. :p

Head wounds actually suck though, they bleed like all hell. Just make up a cool story for it. Maybe, a knife-fight in Budapest?

GAMA team did a few ops in a few different places: failed to protect Samoa, picked up a familiar face in Singapore, mistakenly thought one of their own had died in Warsaw, saw some crazy-ass zombie shit in Japan, fought off an attempted invasion of Cape Town, and then they got their asses handed to them by a team of dopplegangers in Seattle. Their New Mexico base got overrun, so now they're at a GAMA base in Ramstein, Germany. Most of the VALKyries are doing an infantry training exercise at the moment.

That's... simpler than I expected. Anyway, I now have to get to work on my character bio.
Question, though. Two, actually. One-does the character image have to be an actual image, or can it be a description (I'm fine with both, just I'd prefer the second) and the other question is how exactly the nanotech that the Valkyries use to interface with the VALKs work, I.E. what does the pilot experience.
Again, sorry for my noobishness.

It says image on the app, so I would hope you have one.

As for the nanotech, I'm fairly certain that the nanites connect to the VALK and ease the mental strain of piloting the machine enough for one person to be able to use it. If you have further question of it, my co-op would be happy to explain.

No George Ezra fans in the audience I see, well I suppose he's not really impacted America yet.

I feel like a bit of an odd duck here in GAMA because I'm not really a big mecha anime watcher, I watched Gurren Lagann but that was more because it was so emotionally griping rather for the (admittedly very nice) mechs. Am I as alone as I think or is anyone else a fifthly casual infiltrator?
