We're on a bit of a momentary lull due to finals. Mon just got done last week and I'm half way through mine now so be expecting it to pick back up shortly.

Skill-set: He is an expert marksman, noted for a cold and calculating demeanor. His status as an introvert results in his inability to deal with most other humans and has left him regarding contact with anyone outside of established protocol as sometimes overwhelming and definitely unnecessary. Being a introvert, he also is notably awkward in any situation where more than one person is involved inside close quarters, yet he is highly capable of functioning in simulated and realistic combat environments. You won't get much chatter out of him though, as he also has an inability to speak properly often leaving him stammering and babbling incoherently thus rendering him communicably inoperative. At least, it would if it weren't for a special piece of nano-technology inside the linguistic centers of his brain that translate his thoughts quite literally into words for him, and vocalize them through special throat implants to simulate speech.

On top of having a 99.8729% accuracy rate, he also is extremely fast and agile on the ground having enough military training pumped into him to equal the experience of many special forces troopers. His knowledge in survival in the outside world and his eidetic memory allow him to never lose track of his location even in an otherwise dangerous situation. He does however suffer from extremely sensitive skin which brings the line of thought to his next major advantage: his Artemis Mk IV exo-suit. A specialized skeletal frame meant to help him function whenever he is not inside of his mech. He usually only requires its usage when going outdoors. Though considered extremely weak, and mostly a hindrance to most, he is the culmination of the Australian and New Zealand government's "Valkyrie" project being one of a small number to actually survive the implanting process. He was originally only considered as a test subject never to be actively fielded, but due to constraints on the project and the increasing demand for "Valkyries", he has been brought forth from Australia proper to aid in the fight against {i]Protheus[/i] and its zombie hordes.

Born to Alice Daniels-Cooper and Professor Samuel Cooper, Joshua's genetic deficiencies were made obvious by the time he was young. His mother, dying soon afterwards to the infectious disease that was now beginning to appear across the globe, left him emotional scarred and incapable of social interaction for many years after. Looking at finding him a chance for new life, Professor Sam Cooper joined the Australian-New Zealand "Valkyrie" development program so he could sneak his son in as a potential candidate for the nanobot treatments. On Joshua's 5^th Birthday, he was relocated to a private military medical facility from his small childhood residence of 4805 Seashell Ln, Sydney.

Now enrolled in the basic evaluation period, his father managed to falsify records long enough for his son to receive the first test-implants at age 6. From there on in, the nano-technology took over and began to repair significantly damaged brain-functions. Though not programmed to do so initially, Professor Cooper managed to overwrite some of the base coding to allow for these repairs to take place, the rest went down-hill from there. As Joshua progressed, he soon began to prove himself in the simulators, but whenever he was evaluated on why he was an expert in handling firearms inside the simulators, but not outside, he'd refuse to respond. On the eve of his 8^th birthday, when he'd be fully indoctrinated into the program to begin receiving the medical supplements that help improve his condition and aid him in controlling his VALK, a young lab technician came across original records showing Joshua's origins and his father's tampering.

Sentenced to remain in a state prison for the remainder of his life, Joshua's father managed to successfully plead his case to the Court Martial Panel and in the end managed to keep his son enlisted with the program so long as he cooperated. Following his father's last order to him, to never give up and become a Valkyrie no matter what, Joshua became a model soldier and was even awarded with being able to go on a special recon mission with two currently active VALK's at that time. Returning without having seen any true action, Joshua decided he wanted to become a Valkyrie for real and began looking into how to operate and maintain the mech he was to be assigned (granted he survived the Final Injection).

On a cold July morning, he alongside twenty others were sent to the main injection center for the Australian-New Zealand "Valkyrie" project. Having been preparing for this, he was strapped don and put to sleep with anesthesia and then given the final injection of nanobots. For five days his body struggled to stay alive with his heart having actually stopped beating a record ninety times before he awoke, changed, different, and stronger now. Escorted to the hangars alongside the significantly smaller number of "Valkyrie" members, they were given their new mechs. Joshua naming his "Kingcobra" or "King" for short, became infatuated with the machine and on a trial run through the island course the hangar was based on, he managed to complete it in a record time. This new machine had given him life and a meaning to go on.

As time passed as he was taught to fully take care of his VALK, Joshua was also given his vocal implants alongside his exo-suit to help him whenever he wasn't "hooked-in". Now being stationed with the other main battle "Valkyries", he is determined to become one of the best that there is, even if it kills him.

Ok so we've got four people that are ready to go, which means we still need about 5 more people to post before we can get things started. If not we might have to do a bit of intervention, which I'd really rather avoid given the involvement we'd like for this mission.

Did I post about being at the briefing, I feel like Xing posted about sitting next to Valeria, if so just put me at the briefing by default or auto timeskip me there.

Not sure, but anyways the briefing is over and it's almost time to ship out.
