Now, I need to figure out what a fairly powerful demon-prince alongside the soul of a human sorcerer who's a noble, might fear.

Hmm. The light is overused, though it figures that light/holy magic or whatever would hurt a demon somewhat more than other things. And vice versa, with darkness hurting non-fallen angels.

Hey Css, I think you're misinerpreting what happened to Zeraliel. He's not screaming at Scarecrow, he's screaming at Kalen, who actually is a demon. Also the shock spra doesnt work on him,remember.
