Sylvan Academy RP Chapter 4 (IC, Open)

Derrick stood, his legs feeling a little better now than earlier, and held out his hand to help KT up. He had no idea where he wanted to go. Then an idea hit him. He thought it was a great idea, but he couldn't be sure until he asked.

"How about we go to the garden?"

He said as he used his left hand to brush some hair out of his face.

"Sounds great" she responded, her powers could blossom (pun!) in the garden so she would enjoy it more than any other spot at Sylvan. As they walked out and headed to the garden she wondered when it would all end. The happy harmony going on in Sylvan, after all every time things were going good someone would come along and mess things up. She was just waiting for it to happen once again and wondered if Derrick felt the same fear as she did.

Derrick loved the garden here at Sylvan. It was one of the few places he could relax and not worry about the world. Now that KT was here with him, it was all the better. Something inside him nagged at him for letting his guard down, told him she would just hurt him and leave him like everyone else in his life. It didn't matter to Derrick, for now, he was happy. He could only wonder how much longer the serenity here at Sylvan could last. Mark was up to something, and Derrick didn't like it. Lucus was still out there and as far as he knew, no one had told them where it was. So many things could go wrong at any moment, as they so often did, so he chose to just enjoy the time he had and not dwell on the uncertain future. It was then and there Derrick decided that KT and him would go out to eat alone.

"I've decided, were going to go out alone, eat, and have some fun tonight. No one else will be coming today."

Derrick said with a smile plastered on his face as he spoke.

"Sounds great" she responded, her powers could blossom (pun!) in the garden so she would enjoy it more than any other spot at Sylvan. As they walked out and headed to the garden she wondered when it would all end. So many things could go wrong at any moment, as they so often did, so he chose to just enjoy the time he had and not dwell on the uncertain future. It was then and there Derrick decided that KT and him would go out to eat alone.

"I've decided, were going to go out alone, eat, and have some fun tonight. No one else will be coming today."

Derrick said with a smile plastered on his face as he spoke.

Katherine smiled once she learned that they would be going alone but said "I heard theres a party down at the docks, maybe we should head over there now since half the schools gonna be there anyhow." she held his hand a bit tighter as she mulled over his choice of wanting to go alone with her to the restaurant. It was a small gesture for sure but it meant a lot to her.

"Oh...right..I think Derrick told me that already...Kinda forgot..." she said, dismayed at getting the long story short. She liked listening to long stories. Either way, Nidia smiled, hiding any disillusionment. She began to wonder if he was enjoying this, or if it was tedious to him and he felt as if he had to come along. There was a short moment of silence before Nidia said while pointing at a sign in the distance, "There it is! Paris Video!"

She took Aldon's hand and ran toward her goal, just like she had when they started walking. Once inside the small, lonely building, Nidia let go of his hand. "So, Aldon...what movie should we watch?"

"I don't know, I've spent most of my time reading books. You choose something, I like a little of every genre."

Aldon's eyes scanned the shelves, not much really popping out to him. A couple of horror movies, a sci-fi, and a fantasy was all he saw, but he wasn't well versed in digital stuff, he had tried as hard as he could to burn the memories of Derrick watching so many of them from his brain, he just kinda stopped caring. For once, he didn't mind being pulled along somewhere. The last time Derrick had done it to him he had played along, but hated every moment of it. He suppressed a smile at that though before he spoke again.

"I'll give you the long story later if you want. Just don't tell Derrick I told you, he'll tell you when HE'S ready."

Nidia nodded, while she skimmed through the shelves. She was very interested in the suspense theme. Movies like 'I know what you did last summer' or 'One missed call' were her favorites. She walked toward the horror section and picked 'Poltergeist'

She liked spending time with Derrick so far and hoped he wouldn't care too much about the change of his plans to what she wanted to do. If it did she could make it up to him later in some way. Katherine checked her phone to see where the party was one more time to be sure, "We're headed down to the docks Derrick."

Walking around the warehouse, he was surprised at the turnout. Sure given that he invited the entire damn school but still surprising that people came at all. "Well then looks like a need to find Levi again"

"If you really want to go to the party instead, I can take you out on another night. I'll let you decide."

Derrick said as she squeezed his hand slightly harder. Either way, so long as he was with her, he would be fine.

"Let's go it'll be fun babe" she said getting up and beginning to pull him up a bit. She liked spending time with Derrick so far and hoped he wouldn't care too much about the change of his plans to what she wanted to do. If it did she could make it up to him later in some way. Katherine checked her phone to see where the party was one more time to be sure, "We're headed down to the docks Derrick."

"All right, lets go to the party instead. I'll take you out to eat another night."

Derrick was happy to go, though a little disappointed that he wouldn't be able to spend some time alone with KT. He frowned down at his still white hoodie.

"Let me go change into something not quite so bright real quick, and then we'll head that way."

"Girlfriend?" he said, making eye contact with her "come on now, a woman such as yourself would actually notice if a guy has a girlfriend or not won't you?" he pulled her closer and began to kiss her, not really caring about who saw them, and honestly he could not care less if she has a boyfriend or not at this point. He already found Emma exciting and planned to keep her around for a bit.

Emma was shocked at his advance so soon, stopping the kiss she said "Manhandling me already? Guess this will work out won't it?" she began to make out with him. None of the other Sylvan guys had been so forward and that's exactly what she loved and gave into easily, clear by the kissing going on right now.

Yuki kissed her, and as she said what she said Yuki just smiled "well, I guess it will" he said as he made out with her. She was really amazing,he thought as he enjoyed her lips and got into the whole make out, giving in easily to his emotions.

As the two kissed, Emma braced herself as close to Yuki as she possibly could and started to think about ditching the party altogether. Stopping the kiss for a moment she said to him "Maybe we should go somewhere a bit more private. All these people aren't gonna enjoy watching any of my makeout sessions."

She began humming a song while she waited for Derrick to finish up changing and thought about what a night they would have had if they'd just had alone time rather than end up going to the party.

Derrick said as he returned, wearing a black jacket now. Beneath it was a dark blue T-Shirt contrasting his blue jeans. He sighed a little at the thought of having to go to the party, but he was going to make KT happy, so it was worth it. His hair was obeying for once and wasn't in his face, so it no longer hid the scar from the siege a few months back.

"I like how you think" said Yuki. It wasn't uncommon for him to do this when he met someone who is good looking, and Emma fitted the bill. "We should definitely go somewhere, the kids around here might feel uncomfortable" he said, hoping one of the younger students nearby would hear him.

Yuki was led by Emma to the dorms, he entered with Emma to her dorm and closed the door behind him. He felt her kiss him again and when she looked over to the bed he was content but before he could react he was kissed again. He knew what they were going to do already and so Yuki just went along with it. He felt as Emma pulled off his shirt and as they were making out he broke up the kiss and said "you are quite the rushed on eh?" before kissing her again and pulling her shirt up.

Katherine was making a seat for just the two of them that erupted from the ground in a slow manner almost like watching a plant grown however in a fast pace. Vines formed together and twigs tightened to create the seat that was adorned with hundreds leaves that were rolled together to provide comfortable seating. "See." she said returning to holding him tightly so he wouldn't be cold

She wrapped her hands around his arms to rub and feel him, she would let Yuki take control of the rest of what they did for the time. She continued to make out with him.

Athena looked over Ethan's shoulders with worry,

"And your ska..." suddenly an idea hit her mind,

"Race you to the town!" she said as her hand slipped out of his and she started running.

Ethan smiled slightly and ran after Athena "Hey no fair!" he yelled laughing as he dropped his skateboard to the ground and began rolling after her. As Ethan rolled he hit a bump in hole in the road sending him flying into the air and he landed in some bushes to the side of the ride with a thump. "Shit..." he said to himself rubbing his head. He slowly stood up to see his skateboard had landed next to him and one of the wheels broke off. "Well damn..." he muttered picking it up. He began walking towards Athena when suddenly he heard a loud bang come from the woods.

Rez listened from behind the rock as the footsteps got closer and and closer. They were encroaching on his position quickly and they had no idea Rez was even there. Rez quickly sprang up grabbing the first man and throwing him by the arm into the lake before tackling the other. "Rez... what are you doing!" the man yelled as Rez went for his neck. Rez quickly grabbed the man knife and forced it into his neck watching as the blood poured out all over the bright green grass. *BANG* suddenly a bullet whizzed by Rez over his shoulder, he quickly looked back to see the man in the lake holding a gun and pointing it at him. Rez slwoly lifted his hands into the air "You got me... why don't you put the gun down, and we can talk about this." Rez pleaded grinning slightly. "You... you killed him... you bastard." the man replied. Suddenly the bullet that already passed Rez changed direction and flew back hitting him in armless shoulder "FUCK!" Rez jumped down int othe lake narrowly missing a second bullet and stuck the man right in the center of the chest with the combat knife. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you..." Rez whispered pulling the man off the blade. Rez quickly checked both the men's pockets finding a map in the one he killed first, it pointed to the docks. "I'm coming for you Daemos..." Rez whispered running off into the trees.

She wrapped her hands around his arms to rub and feel him, she would let Yuki take control of the rest of what they did for the time. She continued to make out with him.

Yuki, perfectly fine by it, kept kissing her. He then smiled and said "I am perfectly fine by seizing the moment. I find you exciting to be around as well" he said as he kept on kissing her again and he then began to kiss down her neck and running his hands down her body slowly, gauging his moves as to not make her uncomfortable and to see how far he could go.

He said, enjoying her hug, despite the fact that it only helped slightly, it made him feel much better. He hugged her back, his hands complaining at no longer being inside the warmth of his hoodie.

"Besides, you shouldn't do that out here were someone not from the school might see you."

She suddenly stopped as she heard something from the woods,which distracted her.

"Yeah I'm... I don't know." he responded trying to look over the vegetation to where the sound came from. "I think it came from the lake..." Ethan said pushing through some of the bushes and into the clearing around the lake... he froze. "Wh... wh... what happened.." he said staring down at the two dead men blood pouring over the grass and spreading through the water. "Oh god..." he said feeling like something was burrowing into his throat. He quickly looked away back towards Athena and spoke "They look like Lucus students... they're freshly killed..."
