I step into the elevator after her. "Well, I hope at least some of them support us, instead of those prissy Careers." We hit our floor. Stepping out, I find we have some time before our stylists come and grab us. "So, what part of D5 did you say you were from again?"
"Foundry 04; The Hell Hole. Radiation galor. I was a shaper; my job was hammering the fuel rods into the proper shapes. You?" I ask, looking around for the 'stylists'. Crap. We have to go to the parade.

I take a seat in the living room. More wait... oh well. I'd rather spend my time calm and relaxed instead of being constantly reminded of why I was here. "I went to the school up by the Romula lake; my dad is an engineer who helped design and currently works at the Agrippa Reactor. I was hoping to eventually go into engineering like my dad, or become some sort of nuclear scientist." I feel sort of embarrased mentioning my comparatively privileged life, but I guess it doesn't matter much because we are both in it together.
Time to wait it out.

I don't know what kind of notes she is writing be it for the interview or what to do against the other tributes. Then, I finally approached her and when I stood almost next to her I said to her: "We're here" as I held my to her (wut?).
"Yes we are here."
Aurelia slipped on her heels and stood up, she was now a few inches taller then Ted. She walked to the door with Ted and intertwined her left arm with his right.
"Walk slowly. Don't smile. Don't wave. Look straight ahead. Left foot first. We are sophisticated despite being from outside of the capital."
Their mentor was standing in front of them. Their stylist behind them. When the door open they followed them out. Flashes of light constantly going off. Despite the awe giving presence the capital gave off Aurelia refused to let it effect her. There would be time for that later on away from the cameras.
"DISTRICT 5! SUPPORT THE MOVING FORCE BEHIND PANEM!"
Aurelia heard the yell from another tribute, but she keep her composure. It sounds like those repeated from district five are a little full of themselves.
Once they entered the building she dropped her arm from Ted's, sure they were out of sight.
"Well that went well. Time to change... again... and get ready for the parade."
"This way children!"
The stylist quickly Shepard them through the lobby and a hallway until they reached a costume/makeup room.

Ah. Academy man.
"I had a friend up in Agrippa; worked as a senior technician on the coolant system. Dived too. What was your dad's area of expertise?" I ask, my interest obviously piqued. I wonder what going to school's like. Learning, that is. I've never been 'taught' much of anything, surprisingly. Mainly electrics, radiation, math and the 'history' the Capitol force-feeds everyone.

He knew that he would probably die in the next week, but he felt no fear, or for that matter, anything at all. He stared blankly at the wall and tried not to think.

Emily looked over at Frank. "Good luck." She smiled lightly then the train stopped. "Well no escape."

Completely forgetting the situation she was in, she had, as she had practiced, begun waving to the crowd that had gathered outside the terminal to await the arrival of the tributes. Of course, she didn't actually think much of it. She was too busy marvelling at the people, the sights, taking it all in and trying not to be overwhelmed. "I want to live here..." She said under her breath.
As they moved to their stations, Felicia continued to gape in awe at the whole scale and magnitude of the capitol, until the got into the first of the buildings, where she awaited her prep team with her super talkative fellow tribute. She said waiting, arms crossed, staring away from Cassus, trying not to look at him. Instead, she shut her eyes, imagining herself in the capitol, socializing with everyone, taking bets on this year's Hunger Games...

"My dad worked on primarily the core itself, making sure there was enough control rods, that it wouldn't go critical, etc. He also did some other stuff regarding the radioactive fuel itself, I think it had to do with supply and refining? I'm not completely sure." I look around. Our stylists should be coming soon, right? I would hope so. "So, what do you like?'

"Parkour." I respond instantly, an unbidden smile coming to my face.
"District 5 is largely blocked off by rails, fences, walls, rules, confines. Being able to look at them, laugh and say 'that's all you got?' is truly liberating. You?"
