She stopped as a new thought surfaced. "Daddy, when we get home, will you share your thinking bench with me?"

On the top of the highest mountain, inside a temple were a fire burning cheerfully, there was a soft flicker of light. Minerva looked around and then said, "Lucius? I need a word with you."

"There's, uh.....sort of another guy.....I haven't even heard from him in months......I guess it's over.....so...."

*They finally reached the Decontamination room. The males, machines, and females were separated to their area. They would be tested first. Unfortunately they were slightly irradiated. To their request though, their clothes were removed and put into a wash, while they themselves received a wash to remove the radiation. After that, they each were left waiting til they got their clothes back.*

Worse than a swimsuit, thought Giovenith, hugging herself. She was uncomfortable with showing much of any skin, even if she was alone, just one of her more personal quirks. She liked comfort, and to remain hidden at her whim, and this was opposite to it.

Jacob and Albert were sitting in one of the corners of the food court, arguing in Latin. It was an argument about something related to the technology of this area. Albert still wanted to (secretly) 'borrow' some of it so that Aksarben could copy or reverse-engineer it. Jacob was saying that he didn't want to insult their host by stealing technology for their nation. Albert looked really annoyed about the argument. Jacob seemed to be winning the argument.

"I'm done arguing Albert. You are not going to take anything from here." Jacob said in Latin.

Albert huffed and replied. "Fine. I promise that I won't take anything."

"Make sure that you don't Albert." Jacob went to go get food and Albert leaned against the wall in his chair.

Katya sniffled.

"Well that's interesting. I'm a mechanic of sorts, fixed planes where I come from. Old, rusted out Soviet planes that should've been grounded years before are still flying today." Bran said. "I also own a non-lethal weaponry firm."

Katya nodded and sniffled.

"So....I'm not a slut.....I feel like one."

She said nothing else for a long time.

Yoshi held her gently. and shook his head. "n-no, you aren't. th-that is what others would have you think....y-you just got carried a way is all...we need to be more careful if you don't want to go that far." he blushed "t-to tell you the truth...I-I really d-didn't want to go all the way through..I-I wanted to make you happy though. c-can we please just leave it at kissing and cuddling?" there was a long pause. "w-w-what do you think of me? a-and please speak the truth."

"Thank you," she said, crouching down and quickly putting them on. They were not built with the same material as the kind she usually wore, but it was a hell lot better than nothing, so she was not about to complain. It felt good to be covered. "That's much better. Refreshing too, I suppose, needed a shower."

"Hmm, and like how I like to be an ass to everyone. Poor choice on her part."

"No, a very good choice, Levi. I happen to agree with it. I think you're much happier being independent of sorts. If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, shackle it and mistreat it until it dies. If it doesn't come back, it wasn't meant to be." Her face didn't show any trace of emotion.

She looked at Thriller and smiled. "You know, he's a very nice fellow."

Minerva snorted. "Waaaa yourself, Lucius. Like it or not, you're the only representative we have for your pantheon, and the past you is off somewhere doing only your God knows what. We need your advice."
