"Raptors just sever the spinal cord, quick, painless, leaving prey paralyzed." Fortu said and poured a cup of coffee.

"It likes leaving them in pain, and slowly dying, but still giving it the ability to move, so it can get entertainment."

"I really would like to change the subject." Fortu said not wanting to think of his past nature or what he had been subjected to.

Screaming and cursing could faintly be heard, followed by swords clashing.

"Like a raindbow?", Torii said. "Thanks...You're too sweet."

Nova turned around and got closer,she turned into her true form and peeked in

The portal shown ashlands, exotic plants, and a volcano in the distance. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, and the portal was gone.

On the ground was a collection of soldiers. One of them got up, rubbing his back.

"By Azura!", He said, in a thick Australian-sounding accent. The others muttered in a collection of accents, mostly Australian or Scottish.

The soldier realized it was raining. "What the....rain? Where's all the ash? What in Oblivion.....where are we? Is this Morrowind? Tamriel, even?"

Torii took Tsu's hand and smiled.

"What's the matter?", Katya asked, hopping up to follow Luce.

"Candid thoughts are often impolite," said Luce, as he entered Chaos.

"Eh....okay."

[New Aksarben]

"It likes leaving them in pain, and slowly dying, but still giving it the ability to move, so it can get entertainment."

"I really would like to change the subject." Fortu said not wanting to think of his past nature or what he had been subjected to.

"Fine." Octavian said with a nod. "What would you rather talk about?"

"I guess not." Albert said with a nod. "So.... How do you find detective work?"

"No clue," Ray spoke as he walked up the stairs, towards his office. "I'm sure the apartment would actually be a good start; asking around would certainly wield results."

"Eh....okay."

"I guess not." Albert said with a nod. "So.... How do you find detective work?"

"No clue," Ray spoke as he walked up the stairs, towards his office. "I'm sure the apartment would actually be a good start; asking around would certainly wield results."

"That's probably a good idea...." Albert said, following Ray. "You could put up a flyer or something in the lobby.."

Fortu started as his ming ran though a list of topics and memories. he remembered being just a severed head, breaking Neil and Gretta out of a prison on the moon, meeting Monique, giving life to Bob the three headed monkey-pony, and going Axe Crazy. "....how about that weather? Looks like an accident waiting to happen." Fortu said a bit disappointed tha he had nothing normal to talk about.

"You! What is this place, with its strange buildings and cold climate? This definitely is NOT any place I've ever been. Is this Akivir? Yokuda? Wait......Altmeris!? No...such a place doesn't exist..."

A beast launched from out of the group of soldiers and flew over to him.

"Say....tell me, does this beast look familiar to ya?"

"Take me to your place? I wanna see your sisters again."

Fortu was srprised by the tail and a bit encouraged to show what he really was. "Nevvie screwed up my wiring so the rain shocks me. I have to admit something....I'm not really human. I'm one of the raptors. I just want to be normal and not insane like them so I built this body." Fortu said and removed his head, setting it on the table. It sprouted mechanical insect like legs that moved him along the table.

"This, fair lady, is a Netch. Native to Vvardenfell. If you don't know that......then.....we are not in Tamriel, we know that...."
"Not in Akivir either."
"Definitely not Atmora..."
"Then where are we....girl! Care to help us find out where in oblivion we are?"

Torii kept her hand held to Tsu's, but walked around curiously. "So where are your sisters?"

"That's probably a good idea...." Albert said, following Ray. "You could put up a flyer or something in the lobby.."

"A ha!", Ray shouted. "I knew I got a giant printer for a reason! But I just need a design...Oh well, I'll sort that out right now," he said as he quickly charged into his office hopped unto his chair, swirling around in it before grabbing the small laptop and quickly entering a imagery editor. He played around with the software for a bit, editing the current logo of the company into a document and then saving it. Ray proceeded to instruct the document to print, sending several impromptu flyers out of the printer in the corner.

[AETEN II]

Volturius meanwhile dropped from his roost after thirty minutes or so of rest and gently shook Tipper awake.

"We were going to eat remember?" Volturius asked as he stopped pushing Tipper with his wings and detached his armored 'gloves' and dropped them on the floor. Smashing whatever he tried to eat would be annoying and a waste. He'd prefer to not have to lick the squished remnants from his armored gloves.

"Now lets head out before they run out of what's labeled food and switch to serving rations."

Tipper stretched. "Tipper is hungry."

She pulled her hair back and found his wing tip. She smiled and kissed it. "Maybe life here isn't so bad? Let's get food."

Ceril already started a tab for them at Chaos. The Raptor was officially on the payroll.

"It does appear so. I find the lack of Tyranids and Eldar pleasing. Along with those horrible autonomous Necron abominations as well." Volturius noted to Tipper while leading he back to the elevator.

"Y'know, with that power sword you should get a Commissar hat. You'd look adorable." Volturius advised while they road down and stepped off, walking over to Chaos.


Meanwhile at a vacant store nearby it, Pryfyn was directing several Imperial Navy Troopers in unloading of his equipment from several landspeeders. Picking up the large crates from the craft and dropping them onto hovering discs, the troopers filed each one into the now taken shop and deposited them. Once they had finished unloading the materials, tools, and furniture Pryfyn boarded onto one of the landspeeders and floated over to the apartment building. It was about damn time he finally got the required furnishings for a creature like him.

Albert followed Ray into the office, and watched as he made the flyers. Albert was amazed by how focused he was at doing this. "You are amazing, Ray." He complimented honestly. "I've never seen anyone so focused for their job before!"

"I haven't had any good work in ages!", Ray responded as he picked up flyers from the floor and attempted to stop other ones from having the same fate. "All this soldier stuff gets boring after a while."

"I still have trouble telling what is strange, I'm so used to the strange. There is a rubber insert ring that goes in my neck socket to keep fluids from leaking." Fortu said and crawled up his headless body and settled on his forearm.

"So you don't know what's wrong with your body's wiring?" Octavian questioned Fortu.

"Look in my neck, there souldn't be wirs sticking out. They should be sealed in a small compartment." Fortu added.

"Eh, I guess we can just hang out together."
