-1968, The Congo, and Democratic Republic of Congo come together as one and create the United Congolese States. The UCS begin to focus on the economy, and focus on the industry of the UCS. The government begins to fund several mining companies. 2 years after the companies have begun mining valuable resources, the government begins to trade the mined findings. This greatly helps the economy, and helps people get to work.

-1977, The UCS began a subtle military buildup. In the December of the same year, The UCS the enacted a national conscription for men and women between the ages of 18-26. The UCS announced there would be an Annual Conscription from that year on.

-1985, The UCS obtained the resources to build a nuclear warhead. The UCS never announced how they obtained the resources but it was suspected that they got them from a foreign, hostile nation. The UCS made several plans to build new nuclear warheads, but they were delayed due to high tensions between surrounding countries.

-1987, The UCS begins to invade Kenya and Uganda. The UCS quickly defeated the two oppositions very quickly- 3 months- and then, annexed both the nations. They, then began to an invasion of Angola and Tanzania. They fought the two nations for 7 months and then, the two nations surrendered and were annexed. To avoid militaristic confrontation, Gabon surrendered and offered the annexation of Gabon to UCS. The new nation was renamed the United People's Republic of Africa

-1999, The UPRA builds it's first nuclear power plant, this furthers the nations powers, and also brings a sense of unity to the nation. 11 months later, the UPRA builds it's first nuclear weapon. This further strengthens the unity of the UPRA's citizens. The UPRA designs plans to have 50 by the end of 2009.

-2005, UPRA begins refocusing on the economy, they allow several companies to tear down rain forests, except for designated areas that would be National Parks. The payment of the companies greatly helps the UPRA's economy. They also begin an operation to drill oil from the nation's reserves. The oil drilling operation quickly helped the economy and employed many citizens.
