As Charles got to the lake and placed Kyla in the shore water he could see in the distance Dextra, she was alive and well. He was glad, jumped into the water and got close to her. This time she was naked. He blushed and began to speak, nervous. "H-hi" said Charles, extremely shy about the situation he was put into "how did you ended up here? I was concerned about you" he said as he gently grabbed her arm.

Seth forgot about what he was going to say and smiled taking some of the food and quickly eating it with no mess "Thank you" he sighed and leaned back in the chair closing his eyes and thinking. He had not slept for 2 days making him really tired but he had to keep it together. This was like the eastern front all over again but on a much smaller scale.

She gasped as she heard Charles was near,

When she felt him close to her she immediately slapped him and covered her breast with her hands,sending an obvious message.

Blaire smiled at him,and tried not to interrupt him.

She quickly grabbed her cup of coffee and started drinking from it.

Matt sat in a corner of the infirmary completely out of consciousness. He sat there pale and limp as everyone worked around him. he had spent the entire week in the infirmary healing the wounded and sick and it had gotten to him... he was in bad shape. All of the energy he released during the healings wasn't coming back as fast as usual. He hadn't eaten anything at all in 3 days, he couldn't survive like this much longer. He slowly opened his eyes to the scene of a busy infirmary. Now even most of the nurses were sick, the bodies of the students that died from injuries lined the halls of the school now with no where else to go and it was effecting health. Matt tried to stand but he just managed to land back on his ass. He just sat there... in that corner, watching.

Ethan looked out the window with notebook recording enemy movements. He had been doing this the entire week at the behest of some upperclassmen. It had provided him with something to do the whole time and the guy even shared some of his food with Ethan. He had talked to Athena most times when staring out the window, it helped pass the time. Though he felt like his job was worthless, they weren't an army either. They had no patrols or anything just random kids wondering where they weren't supposed to be.

Alyssa sat will matt. she became increasingly worried about health. She stroked his hair and smiled at him. then he tried to stand and failed. Alyssa cried silently. she was in pain also but not as much as he was. "matt... don't push yourself please."


Kyla looked up at charles. "W-water please" she passed out then from exhaustion.

"I... more people need me... need my help..." he said standing up with the help of the wall. "They rely on me..." he said making his way over to bed with an injured boy laying in it. "It is my job to help them..." he said falling to his knees. "Just... just a few more..."

Ethan looked over at Athena and grinned before looking back through the binoculars "So far... one drunk kid, one taking a piss in the bushes, and another getting beat on by his own mates... my job is soooo exciting." he said sarcastically. "There is no point in being here... want some..." he said pointing to a plate with a single piece of bread on it.

She laughed at his sarcasm,she somewhat found him funny..

"Thank you.." she said as she took the bread and started eating it.

After doing so she leaned her head against the window and held Ethan's hand.

"Is everything alright with you..?.." her voice sounded more tired and more mature then usual.

Charles touched his cheek "well, that hurt" he said "sorry, but I... I didn't know you were naked, and this is as awkward for me as it is for you, I just was so concerned and well, I came here without thinking about anything else but talk with you and let you know I was glad I found you" he then gasped for air and said "I'm sorry, I'll be out of the water in a moment and I'll be in the shore taking care of this girl, alright? She fainted and well, yea, I have to check up how she is holding up" he said as he went back to the shore.

As he was back into the shore, he checked up on Kyla, still unconscious, but he knew that it would take some time before she cooled off and wakes up. In the meantime he was looking around to see if he could gather something to eat, fruits or berries would do fine. He sound a fruit tree and tasted it. It tasted sweet, it was an apple tree. He began to pluck them out and dropping them onto the floor below. Eventually he had enough so where they could eat enough. He then started to carry them close to where everything else was. I can't believe I did something as stupid as to see her naked Charles thought while carrying the apples, but yet he found her quite beautiful.

Seth opened his eyes after about ten minutes of sleep "Better get back to work" he sighed then lent over to kiss Blaire on the cheek before putting his balaclava, sun glasses and headset back on "See you later" he formed his ice rifle back up then walked up to the fortress where proceeded to help Karl fight off the attackers.

Karl now had 2 glocks in his possession. The 35 Lucus students were still alive, but soon they would be dead. They were looking for him, and he was in the shadows, watching. "Come on, James, he ain't here!" "I know he's here, Marcus. Imagine, he killed 15 guys!! He's the Devil if I've seen him!!!" "Shut your yap, he's just a kid. We can take him" Karl stepped out from behind a corner, and looked at tue two. "Wrong answer." Their brains started compressing, ther entire being erased. Memories, emotions, everything was gone. Marcus and James now had the mental capability of a slug, and Karl burned them alive. "33 left."

Kyla woke up near the lake. she threw up what little wad in her stomach. she was to weak to stand and walk so she crawled towards the water.

As he moved away from the shore she swam behind him as well,

She grabbed her clothes after drying herself using her powers.

As Charles was carrying the last couple of apples, he saw Kyla struggling so he rushed to her side and offered his weight as lever. "Come on Kyla," he said "let me help you stand up". He then looked as the girl was getting off the water and drying herself, grabbing her clothes. "Hey!" he called at the girl "I got some food from nearby trees, so just let me help her out and then I'll go ahead and wash the fruit I got, ok?"

He saw her shrugging. Is she... Charles thought, but he had to help Kyla first, her health was a bit more important. He got her to sit down in the shore. "Now, here you are, don't go any farther, you are weak and I have to eat before regaining my energy" he said as he rushed back and grabbed an apple. He noticed the girl once more and he ran to wash the apple.

After washing the apple well, he ran to the girl. "Hey," he said, putting the apple where she could touch it "I brought you the first apple. I hope you like them." he said as he held it towards her, the apple touching her hand.

As she took hold of the apple she started shaking,

After several seconds of not being sure what to do she grabbed the apple with all her strength and ran away towards the castle,which's path she already had memorized.

IC: Seth closed his eyes and continued the kiss. It wasn't often he got a kiss from Blaire but that made the times he did get them feel all the more special. After a few seconds he pulled away to a lips distance and smiled slightly as he opened his eyes "I love you" he said in a tone that even Seth was not sure he was serious. He sighed and stood up before forming his ice rifle back up.

As she took hold of the apple she started shaking,

After several seconds of not being sure what to do she grabbed the apple with all her strength and ran away towards the castle,which's path she already had memorized.

Charles saw her running. "Oh man!" he said as he rushed towards her and grabbed her with all his strength in an embrace. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" he said, with a stern voice "I know of a better path where we won't be as easily spotted by the enemy" he said. "We are under siege right now, by a rival school apparently, and if you want to live, please stick by me. I don't want you getting hurt" he said softly.

"Yeah... I'm fine. I have a few people that give me food for doing this pointless job so I'm not starving like most of the others." he put the binoculars down on the window sill and looked back at her "We can't do this much longer..." he said truthfully."

Matt stared up at her "O... okay... I guess... I could use a break... maybe some water..." he said trying to stand back up.

Dante opened the door, his face visibly pale and his body skinnier than usual, "If you want more food guess we all do... now with that out of the way what do you want..." he asked walking back to his desk.

Karl sat down in the circle of Lucus kids, dressed up in Lucus gear and holding a rifle. "Hey hey, it's Marcus!!! Where's James?" Karl loaded the rifle, and sighed. "Killed by that dirty no good bastard." Everyone around Karl murmured, and a voice spoke up angrily. "Let's all go and kick his ass!!! He's nothing compared to us, he's just a puny Sylvan kid with a gun!!!" Karl began standin up, and steam rose off his back. "Yo, Marcus, where ya goin'? We're having stew tonight!" "I'm not Marcus." Fire flowed from Karl, burning their faces. 5 of them backed off, and fired, the rest dead. Karl fired, and two dropped down. The other three hid behind a corner, and Karl smiled. He picked up a gas-can thrower, put on a mask, and fired. The gas spread, and soon coughing and barfing could be heard. As the gas dissipated, only one was alive. Karl picked him up, smiled, "Goodbye, Lucus.", then cracked the girl's head open. He had won Venios back, and now could rest.

Athena didn't know how to respond,only thing she knew is that she felt something for Ethan and that this is probably her last chance to show it.

She got closer to him,laid he head on his shoulder and hugged him.

"Don't say a word..." she whispered to his ears as she fantasized about scenarios that could happen next.

Kyla sat as she was told and waited for the boy to return she felt light headed but remained awake



Alyssa handed him her water ration. "here you go." she wished he would take some of her energy to help him do his job.

"Dante, we are at breaking point. Starvation, disease, death. We need to act now before we all die. We can't just wait until they attack, because they won't. They'll sit for months until we die out. I want to take a team out to attack them. I need the most capable students here, Cornelius's Warriors," Jafar said in a serious tone.

Seth blinked slowly. He couldn't believe he let those forbidden words slip out of his mouth. After what his ex girl friend did to him he had trust issues. He pondered for a second then smiled at her finally coming to his decision which was already decided a long time ago "Of course I do...I love you" he said it again with his tired and droopy eyes but with the same warm smile.

"Seth..I am sorry..But I can't.." she shred a tear and looked at the floor.

"I have to go now..People probably need me..."

Charles felt her tense down. He knew she began to trust him. He then loosened his grip on her and held her hand "now, let's go to get this other girl, who apparently was sick and fainted back in the castle, which is why I brought her here, so she could hydrate" he then guided her back to the lake. "By the way," he said, grabbing the pendant his mom gave him "I have a present for you" he said as they walked towards the lake where Kyla was.

In the distance, a boy from the school of Lucus was watching them. "That Sylvan scum" he said as he saw Charles walking back to the lake "they will all die today" he said as he saw them, the intent of killing in his smile.
