Colonization continues on at a moderate pace. All current races (Yahg, Volus, Synthetics, Kaminoans) reproduce at a mammalian rate, and do to mastering automation in city efficiency, little emphasis has been placed on expanding populations. However, a snowballing effect does exist within the Empire, as the Yahg attempt to remain the dominant species in both numbers and political power. As the Yahg establish more colonies, they gain strength in more political power. Not to be outdone, the Kaminoans follow in pursuit, colonizing damp and watery worlds to thrive on. Henceforth, the Volus then begin to feel the financial pressure of other species economic expansion, and quickly populate a planet before taming birthrates. Synthetics follow a growth rate of 1/12th of the total population, so their growth is entirely tied colonization.

Currently, a new world has been discovered to have extensive oceans and flourishing land masses. The Yahg and Kaminoans are currently locked in a race to settle the world.

A new colony world has been founded specifically for Synthetics. The world is completely barren, having no atmosphere or ecosystem. However, the planets strong magnetosphere makes for outstanding views of the systems blue sun.

Probes are sent out to the surrounding nations, they were not sent there to specifically to observe them, but they happen across them.

With the threat of chaos incursion always high the grey knights had been working around the clock to monitor the solar systems for demonic incursion from the warp storm. They had been on hundreds of deployments over the last two millennia, but they continue to remain vigilant, ready to counter a demonic incursion at a moments notice.

"Mission accomplished! Well done all of you! What is the condition of the Omega particle Worf?"

"Containment is holding, we can only hold it for 2 more days. And by then we will reach PD-1." Worf said over the intercom.

"Helmsman, what is our ETA?"

"2 hours at our current speed, my Lord."

2 hours later. PD-1

PD-1 appeared on the viewing screen, the massive sphere lit up like a huge, floating city in space.

PD-1 is 529 kilometers long and is armed with 4 Ultra disruptors capable of destroying planets.

The Boron chamber was extracted from the ship and put into PD-1's core.

"Power level is... off the charts!" Said one of the operators on PD-1

"The emperor will be most pleased with our work."

Several ships depart from Cadia to explore the planets directly around the warp storm to check for chaos activity. Several additional probes are dispatched to search the space around the warp storm for habitable planets untouched by chaos.

Battlegroup Dakota dropped out of slipspace 50,000 kilometers from a strange, massive ring-shaped construct. "This must be Installation 04." Captain Andrew del Rio said to himself on the bridge of the Infinity. "Begin deploying the frigates." he ordered. "Copy sir. Frigate control, deploy." the Ops commander said. "Deploying now." frigate control replied. The ship shuddered as the frigates exited their holding bays and took up their positions within the fleet.

The TES Custodian was one of the ships in orbit around Installation 04, commanded by Admiral Kov'aa it was the first ship to detect the UEG fleet.

"This is Admiral Kov'aa, you are trespassing on a restricted area, turn around immediately" he demanded, as all across orbit ships began to move to intercept the fleet.

The TES Custodian was one of the ships in orbit around Installation 04, commanded by Admiral Kov'aa it was the first ship to detect the UEG fleet.

"This is Admiral Kov'aa, you are trespassing on a restricted area, turn around immediately" he demanded, as all across orbit ships began to move to intercept the fleet.

"This is Captain Andrew del Rio of the UNSC Infinity. We found coordinates for this construct in our space. What is this place?" Captain del Rio responded, but secretly he ordered his ships to raise shields, just in case the worst happened.

"Look at them! They're coming along faster than those damn Kaminoans expected!" A rather large Yahg laughed, his deep voice resonating on those standing in the room overlooking the Vorch homeworld.
"I agree," replied another Yahg, "Their military regiments are showing much promise, and at the rate they can populate, any race at all will succumb to our wishes!" Another Yahg voiced. This one was considerably smaller, but wore a dark blue inform, implying great prestige among the military ranks.
"It just goes to show, Yahg intuition is superior to those frail Kaminoans!" The first Yahg retorted.
"Meh, they have done some good, they cured that genetic eye disease that had impaired us for centuries."
"True, I suppose. I just can't wait to test those Vorcha out!"

The door leading onto the observation suddenly lit up, and a synthetic woman walked.
"Ahh, EDA! Nice of you to join us!" The military officer exclaimed.
"Zarg, I bring conflicting news. The Vorcha have assimilated into city life quite well, however... certain sections of their society are still in active rebellion about the upliftance." EDA replied.
"Huehuehuehueheueheueheueheu" The apparently Brazilian Zarg laughed, "then we shall have fun indeed! EDA mark up the regions in active rebellion, and charge up those prototype weapons of ours!"

The Captured Spacehulk Judgement of Carrion lumbers out of a large warp portal. The massive ship had recieved some repairs, and had been purged of Hostile Xenos but still had an old ramshackle appearance since it had hundreds of different ships fused to it. This particular hulk was used by the Blood Ravens as a mobile fortress monastery, and Capitol ship. The ancient vessel lumbered towards the planet the crew unaware of space faring life inhabiting it.

"I am sorry admiral, but we were not aware of this law. But before we leave, would you like to see this?" Captain del Rio holds up the artifact and presses a niche in it, and it displays a star chart of the Soell system.

Several more of these "Ghost ships" (Which are in reality the spacemarine chapters scouting.) begin to appear in nations bordering the warpstorm. The ships would jump in system, linger for a few hours to a day then leave without making contact. Most attempts to hail the ships result in dead air or a voice spoken in high gothic heavily garbled by static.
