[Rightful Revolution]

The Citadel

With Forerunner ships concentrating fire elsewhere, and the Orks concentrating heavily on the Citadel, Flood ships are essentially in a field day. The battle is leaving more damaged ships than the Flood can keep up with, a vastly negative consequence to the parasites' enemies as the Flood now have the ability to choose which ships to convert, rather than take what is given to them.

"You'll be meeting the Emperor himself in the imperial palace." Several minutes later the elevator reaches the surface, and the blast doors open revealing beautifully crafted buildings of white marble, and streets paved with gold colored Ceramite. Soon a Stryker APC rolls up to the group. "Here's our ride. Its an old design but I'll be damned if it isn't effective." Ersa says as the ramp lowers, and Ersa gestures for them to climb in.

As the Orks neared the imperial lines the trap was sprung. The shadowsword tanks fire on the gargants as Leman Russ Punishers unleash a barrage of fire from their Gatling cannons. Tanks target the buildings making them collapse hopefully forcing Orks into a "Meat grinder" of defenses.

The Citadel

The Ork Fleet reseves, which was still vastly huge came into full force in order to destroy the Flood-control ships with masive barrages as other Ork forces who were heavily focusing on the Citadel and other ships went and to engage the Flood with heavy barrage aimed at both Forerunner and Flood as they dircet their attention to those two forces.

The Transcended climbs into the Stryker,his guards standing by him.He then saks Ersa " Does your people use the Blind Eternities for travel also ? "

A section of the Orks were trapped as the main horde followed Antlar's lead into the Citadel's arm contols, the horde just ran into the defenses as they use whatever weapons they have scavage from dead bodies as they gave a big WAAAGH!

"I don't even know what that is. We use a drive that opens up to a pocket dimension known as the warp, which we are currently in. It used to be chaotic, and full of evil. But the emperor lead his angels of death into battle against the forces of chaos. Once they were destroyed the emperor became a god of the warp." Ersa says. The Stryker rolls down the road, and the top of the APC opens. Infront of the vehicle the massive imperial palace could be seen.

The imperial forces fired into the wave of Greenskins with Punisher Gatling cannons, hellhound flame tanks, and heavy bolters. The massive amount of fire from the defenders could easily eliminate their numbers advantage.

Caldari Battle station

The Caldari fired the IW( Infinite Warp) at the Ork flagship. Great amounts of light pierced the ship, and a hole of nothingness spread away from it, consuming everything in it's path. Sadly, the hole reached the battle station, which began it's sinking into the Nothingness slowly.

The Ork flagship was caught into the Infinite Warp that got them into the Warp, which was orderly and peaceful thanks to the God Emperor of both Mankind and the Warp, one Nob was killed by a Mekboy in this chaos away from the battlefield.They don't know what they are going to do or going to be back in realspace but they will not be in any hurry to get back
(OOC: do not attack them, I have a plan and story arc with the Mekboy and the crew here.)

The area around the arm controls would be filled with the deafening roar of the Imperial machine guns letting loose volley after volley of bullets into the seemingly endless hordes of greenskins. The shadowsword tanks continue firing at the gargants with their massive guns designed to take down the massive war machines.

The Big Fat Orks have been able to reinforce the Gargants that were being punched through as Grot tanks and Stompas were firing at the defenses as the Warlord shot a wave of psychic energy at the frontlines as Orks around him were shooting their Shootas at the defenses and running over the falling Ork bodies and toppled Gargants.

Leman Russ tanks, and turret emplacements return fire as the grot tanks begin firing but due to the Orks poor accuracy, and the defensive walls no tanks were lost. When the psychic wave was unleashed it would be stopped by a greater psychic presence behind the imperial defenses.

The Citadel

Flood ships, coming under increasing fire, have begun to flee the battle field with the existing ships under their possession. The Flood, in total, have escaped with over 1700 war vessels.

The shadowswords continue firing at the mechs with their mighty volcano cannons. Leman Russ tanks, and turret emplacements return fire as the grot tanks begin firing but due to the Orks poor accuracy, and the defensive walls no tanks were lost. When the psychic wave was unleashed it would be stopped by a greater psychic presence behind the imperial defenses.

The Orks still charged the defenses as the Warlord use his snazzgun laser upgrade at the defenses as the was a unleash of brutal energy around the Ork horde as they got stronger and their guns got more better and the Orks started charging at the imperial defenses much faster and Orkier at the defenses as the Storm Nobz started to run into the defense and the Tank Bustaz started aiming at the shadowswords and other defenses.

The punisher tanks continue firing into the horde with their massive fire rate which should be enough to keep the Orks at bay. As the tank bustas charge the shadowswords to get in range hellhound, and Punisher tanks assigned to defend them open fire on them.

(The Punisher is basically the Gatling cannon from an A-10. The Orks should be torn to shreds. The Orks collective psionic imprint cannot protect them from everything.)

The punisher tanks continue firing into the horde with their massive fire rate which should be enough to keep the Orks at bay. As the tank bustas charge the shadowswords to get in range hellhound, and Punisher tanks assigned to defend them open fire on them.

(The Punisher is basically the Gatling cannon from an A-10. The Orks should be torn to shreds. The Orks collective psionic imprint cannot protect them from everything.)

The Ork forces where being cut down but a stray tank shell blew away the Warlord as he was running with the Ork horde. With Antlar dead, the WAAAGH! was lost as all of the Ork horde has started major infighting against each other, as in space.
The same was going into space as the great space fleets were leaving the area as they were either fighting each other or just going back to their respective Ork empires. This was also the end of the short lived Imperiukk of WAAAGH!

(Im assuming that if you are going for the control room you would also be fighting Joker, Magestic and Gamma?)

Gamma squad had taken places far above the control room, in an overlooking position. Spotting the death of whoever seemed to be in charge they somewhat cheered, before laying down their own firepower. Also they had little ammunition left, the incineration cannon did an incredibly good job at dealing with large groups at the front, with the binary rifle picking off those who made it too close to the controls. Although they didn't have the firepower the Imperium had, they still thought that they could help out again. All of Gamma squad had appeared to have taken damage, to the chest, arms or legs. However these injuries wouldn't be permanent, just temporarily painful until they could get to a doctor.

Joker squad had held out the entire time, apart from Kurt, the combat engineer, being hit by a stray bullet, everything was fine, by now they had barely any ammunition, and they now hate ork weapons, as they are crude and unwieldy. Alec said to his squad "we've made it, we defended the citadel, with help from gamma squad of course" Alec went to shake gamma 1's hand and said "Ella has some biofoam for your injuries, it's painful but it will heal, she also has morphine to numn that pain, so you should'nt feel a thing"

THE CITADEL

UHR ships above the citadel could take a rest, they had'nt lost a single ship due to orks not firing back at them and the ships keeping a distance.

"damage report" "nothing sir, altough a cruiser was crippled" "thats good, we done good men!" cheers filled the ships, they had won, and this time in the defence of the galaxy, this was the first step for the UHR in becoming a great orce in the galaxy.

UHR SPACE

The UHR had claimed a massive 24 systems, now they owned 37 systems and the population was climbing at unprecedented rates, and the UHR had made trillions from mining resources from planets which could not sustain life, and one planet is devoted to cultivating food for the UHR, and the conversion of the moon orbiting Aegis into a factory is taking place.

The Imperial forces begin clean up efforts in the citadel. They construct triage centers, clear roads of rubble with their tanks, and begin burning the Ork bodies.

The Warp,
Space Hulk Bogeatar
The Orks were stuck on the Space Hulk of the former Brutal Shaman, their were still hundreds of millions of Orks cramped inside the massive corridors of the Space Hulk, but something strange was effecting them. The Warp was peaceful and full of order, normally there would be demons that would fight the Ork space hulk, but this energy around the Orks was starting to take effect to them. Their minds started to become more sharper and their skin started to become much more greyer as their teeth started to grow bigger and so did their bodies and muscles. This was very strange for the Orks for they do not know what is going on in their bodies or even how long they are going to be in the infinite warp period, but they do know that the Warp or something is making the Orks into something different, they just don't know what.

Now the fleet was waiting for the stations arms to open, and then they could return to ships for treatment and new equipment.

The Citadel
As the Ork Forces fought amongst themselves, the Republic Forces also engaged to mop up any surviving fighters. Once that task was complete, the task of rebuilding the Citadel would go under way.

Space around the Citadel
The CDF began its repairs as the Ork fleets left the system. Soon they would rally once more and with the Chancellor's orders more ships would be constructed to avoid something like this happening again.

"should we open the arms? the controls are just there" "hmm.. we need a way out of here, go ahead, open them" then Andrews walked up to the arm controls, and activated them, opening the citadels arms "it's working, we'll be out of here soon" "good, dropships on it's way, lets move" then Alec and his squad headed for the LZ, outside the senate building, and the Dropship arrived, with the tank attatched to it, and the boss mech would be picked up later. The squad stepped onto the front ramp of the dropship, once they were all on and took a seat, the ramp closes up, and the dropship headed for the corvette.

With the Orks gone the imperial forces begin pulling out of the citadel. With the threat of an Ork WAAAGH gone the imperial navy can focus on combating the flood.

Chancellor Zaal'Koris sat partially stunned at the events that had just taken place. "It would appear...we need more ships and greater defence, I'll get on that right away"
