[Conjoined Empire]

"We do this not lightly. We have done everything we can. But we can help you. Your people will be able to make a new start. We can try to keep you safe until we find a way to fight back effectively."

[Liberated Counties]

A static filled transmission is sent to the tau ship. "Orks.... Everywhere.... Trapped.... Help...." The transmission cuts off. Meanwhile the gate is blown open by the barrage, and a huge barrage of bolter, laser, plasma, and tank fire comes streaming through the door towards the Ork horde.

The captian stood anxiously as the message played.
"That doesn't sound good, how many barracudas do we have on board?" He asked the first officer, who checked for him.
"Twelve sir, and plenty of ammo." The officer replied.
"And how many fire warriors?" The captian asked the officer again.
"Four thousand, not enough to make a difference" he said "our true strength lies in our fighters and element of surprise."
"Prepare them all, that's an order." The captian ordered.

Around half a hour later, twelve fighters armed with bombs, Railguns and burst cannons emerged from the ship, their symbols removed to avoid giving their identity away to the greenskins.

The Lord Admiral nodded.
'Let's hope these Wolves stay where they are for a while, then.'

Clavain stood up.
"We will need to speak with your leader." He replied.

"I have a proposal for you and your crew. You could join the Conjoined. It would give you a purpose, a new people, a new home. You could start over. The Wolves have taken your people, help us fight against them." Rementoire suggested.

"I... We will.. It is our only path to take, we shall serve Clavian"

"Alright, this may take a while considering the size of the structure, but they are readily approaching the surface." The bridge of the flagship held it's breath as the group of sentinels made their way towards the planet, currently seeming that the gravity tractor beam wasn't having much effect, yet this was early days and much a way to go.

OOC: You might want to pick up on what they see, I'm not too sure myself sorry (besides the blue rings, turrets and silver appearance)

"the sentinels passed through the maw, now they could see as the blinding white light had dissapeared, and a beautiful, colossal land welcomed them, filled with lush forests and giant mountains, waterfalls and rivers, even an ocean. Underneath them was a spire emitting a blue light and tipped with a hardlight blade-like peak, blue in colour. The sentinels came closer to the structure and then passed the tip of the spire and closer to the bottom, diving close to the spires wall. There was now an opening in the spire as it widened sharply, in this opening there was three smaller spire forming a triangle, and in the middle a portal, a slipspace portal. This was one of the many teleportation network hubs.

"It is not a matter of serving Clavain, but of becoming part of a new, greater being. You become a cog in a larger machine. You become part of the Conjoined, essentially a hive mind. But the difference between a hive mind and the Conjoined is you maintain your individuality within the Conjoined. Becoming a Conjoiner will give you access to the greater pool of minds, it will give you a community, a family of millions. You will not regret joining us." Rementoire replied.

OOC: What is the Captains name? And do you want to continue RP'ing him? That would make things interesting.

Caldari Prime
Karl Sund smiled, then his face became serious. "You do realize that under present circumstances, I am forced to consider you enemies of the Caldari Consulate? That I am forced to consider your fleet of warships an invasion?" Sund rubbed his temples, then looked out the window. The highways were bustling, and the neon signs of the many corporations glistened in the night. Caldari Prime's moon shone up in the sky, and tiny specks of light could be seen on it's surface.

Citadel
Kulius Sund, representative of the Caldari race, was calling for a small meeting with the Chancellor. It involved profit for his race, and so his tail was swishing around gently.

"Truly a place of wonder," said the officer," We should investigate the slipspace portal as soon as we can, however we will not be able to do anything if we cannot first deactivate the tractor beam, either that or locate your ship and see what exactly happened to it." The sentinels appeared to be dividing themselves up, beginning to take a look around the spire they were in, investigating it.

Transcendence

News had spread of the latest decision made by the council, concerning the armed forces. It appeared that along with the decision to only have Forerunners serving, and to allow other species with their systems to live a life free of this responsibility, those soldiers would be trained far more extensively than normal, hoping for them to make progress towards Promethean status; if they were to continue to grow as a power then they would have to get stronger and better. Although they were not the largest species they would rely of tactics, their own abilities and most importantly, advanced technology. This seemed to go hand in hand with the stricter rules concerning ship construction, only the best would do, as those which would fail to meet specifications would be torn down and rebuilt. It appears that the Forerunners are taking the elitist method over the numbers method of an army.

Inco sat at the Imperium's embassy watching the squats fight the Orks. "Humph. There hasn't been an Ork fleet this large since Ullanor. Damned greenskins recover so quickly." Inco then shut down the live feed, and rubbed his temples.

"this sounds like the future for us.. all of us.. for the greater good! the crew and I accept, we have a new family in place of our old ones, but I warn you we already have inferior implants.. is that a problem?"

(he's known as The Searcher by most, because he was once a lone soldier on charum hakkor (ancient human homeworld) after it wad devestated and searched out the T'nar and saved him, he now commands a spec ops corvette, his real name is Sadar Noijen (say-darr Noy- Jun) and he's over 100,000 years old, but he was in stasis for 80,000, his physical age is 37)

Rementoire launched his consciousness across space to the corvette. He felt himself shrink down to one of the servitors on the bridge. The servitor came to life as he willed it into motion.
"Do not worry, we have the most experience dealing with neural machinery, and have the most advanced neural systems in the galaxy. Your machinery should not be a problem." The servitor's voice box eminated Rementoire's voice. "But we will need to Conjoin your crew before we enter the Gateway, it will not allow non-Conjoined to pass through."

750 Billion!

The Supreme Bureau of Statistics and Census has released the joyful news that the Impervious Empire now has over 750 billion citizens, with over 1/8 of the population now residing in the Smaller Magellanic Cloud. The news comes at a darker time for the Empire, as Flood attacks have ravaged the outer colonies and the recent Battle of Earth have lowered Empire moral. The Vorcha still constitute the largest demographic within Empire space, while the Humans, matched by the Ortolans, have the highest population growth rates. The census does not take into consideration the newest species to be identified, the Toong.

Greater Ark

Repair efforts are still underway on the Greater Ark, as more fusion facilities come online and a small ecumene has been established around the control room. A secret government Mass Relay link has been established for shorter travel times.

Occasionally birds could be seen flying over the forests gracefully, and diverse wildlife on the ground could be seen. So far no artificial A.I's had been seen, or anything artificial that was moving at all, and the wildlife seemed to stay away from the spires.

The admiral replied "I think the sentinels could find some sort of control area, considering that spire is directly underneath the entrance and differs from the otheres it might also control the entrance and it's defences"

(He will likely quickly become an integral role of the Conjoined efforts within the Milky Way against the Wolves as they work with the Corporation. And become on one of the Closed Council Members, perhaps even a member of the Inner Sanctum.)

And thanks to our contact with the Ancients, we have gained unique insight into the inner workings of the technologies used by most of the species. But to the matter at hand, we must make you Conjoined. Please close the distance to the Horizons." The Servitor said before sagging and becoming inactive.

Zaal'Koris looked at the senator "Do not fear my friend, the Citadel Defense Fleet, the largest operating fleet in the Galaxy is on standby, and besides remember what happened the last time an attack on the Citadel occurred? The Federation was kicked out, and eventually attacked"
The Chancellor's terminal then flashed "One moment please" said Zaal as he looked at the terminal "Greetings Captain Jenner, dock at Docking Bay D-24. I shall have a guide waiting for your arrival"

"Wait, what nation is the ship you cleared to dock from?"

"I believe they were called the Caldari" Zaal responded, then the terminal flashed again "Hmm, they wish for a meeting" he spoke aloud. He then sent a message back

If you wish for a meeting, come to my office whenever it suits you, aslong as it is during a reasonable time

Are you aware of what's going on at this time in the galaxy? At this very moment a massive Ork WAAAGH is attacking the Imperium, and the Flood are building up forces to unleash on the galaxy. If action is not taken immediately I fear that the entire galaxy will be doomed. Attached is several pieces of information you need to see. I will be waiting in the Imperial embassy if you need any more information.

UHR SPACE

The UHR has 12,000 ships in total, but these are spread out like this:

Reach System
3,000 ships guard worlds in the Reach system, these orbit the six planets and act as border patrol of the planets their stationed above aswell, assissting orbital defence stations. 1000 ships patrol the edges of the Reach system as a first line of defense and a border patrol, these ships also guard space stations whic are on the outer area of the Reach system.

Acheron System
2,000 Ships act as defences for the planets, and border patrols. 600 ships patrol the borders and guard the few distant space stations.

Archer System
1,000 ships act as defences for planets, and border patrols. 400 ships patrol the edges of the system, also acting as border patrol and defending the few stations.

Red System
1,000 ships act as defences for planets in the Red system, and as planets border patrols. 300 ships patrol the borders of the system, and defending the extremely low amount of stations on the edges of the system.

End System
2,000 ships orbit above planets in the End system, they act as border patrol above their planets and assist the orbital defence stations. 1,000 ships defend and patrol the borders.

600 ships are on standby, a fleet is 300 ships in total.

Onboard the flagship, the Enducer, the ships AI, Vender it was commonly known as, was continuing to scan the readings that were coming off the systems. "Ah yes, this all seems normal, a tractor beam to suck you in, who knows what else in in there. What i..." He was cut off as something surged through his systems. "Oh! It appears that while scanning I picked ups something, strange. Something that seems more advanced than I am Admiral. By the looks of it it seems to be some kind of artificial intelligence. On another note I have managed to limit the number of species that could have constructed this to... still more than worth mentioning."

"Hmm... an AI? It could be possible that the reason for the ships forced decent and loss of contact could be because of the AI itself. Try to make contact with it, see if it responds. And yes," he spoke to the Admiral of the UHR, "That makes logical sense, we shall send them there immediately." With that the sentinels spread around the spire, attempting to locate the controls. "I am going to give you command over half of the sentinels," Mal'Ktu said, pressing a few commands before 'handing over' control of half of the group.

[Ralnis]

The Green Horde was leading the charge with gront tanks, Grot bomb launchers,Big Gort trucks, and Junka Trukks firing at Dwarven postisons with support from the Deff Dreads and Dred Kans firing at the vehicles. Though the Ork were taking casuities, this was a life of an Ork, and a life in Antlar's Army.

Many of the Dwarves were in reinforced positions that soaked up much of the damage while allowing them to fire on the Ork vehicles. The Leman Russ fire at the tanks, and walkers while the auto cannons fire at the trucks. The emplaced weapons concentrate on the endless waves of Orks while a single sniper takes aim at the warboss.

Antlar was grabbing a Shoota that was on a falling Ork as he was running towards a Ark Boy and duck under his shielding"Now, use your head, and fire at the Tanks you Gits" many tanks where falling, but only to be replaced by more tanks and walkers, The Dred Kans where firing their cannons at the other walkers while the trucks where using anti-infantry weaponry at the infantry as a large wave of Storm Nobz came at the defenses and started skirmishing with the Squat defenders in the trenches.
Grot Rocket Launchers where aiming at the Tanks as rockets and tank rounds where firing at the vehicles and tanks in general.
In Space
The Orks where fighting the Tau ship with a massive barrage of cannon fire shot at them from the Kroozas while the Space Hulk and rest of the forces where engaging the Impieral battlefleet that had entered the system

The Caldari senator sighed in relief. He dressed in casual Caldari fashion: silk long pants, a long sleeve shirt, jerkin, metal belt. The senator was an old man, his tail withered and bare. Once the senator was done dressing, he stuck put on an earring which bore his corporations insignia. Last, he put on a force field ring and put a small stun gun inside his breast pocket. In this fashion, he walked to the chancellors office and knocked politely.

The Squats fight back furiously taking up swords as the Orks approached. Several tanks are taken out, and many squats killed. A baneblade drives out of the depot, and fires a shot at the roof of the cavern at the entrance. The shot causes the roof to collapse causing any Orks unlucky enough under it to be crushed. The superheavy tank then engages the Orks with its many weapons. The leader of the squats stands ontop of a destroyed Ork tank. He yells to the warboss. "Come, and fight me man, to man you bloody coward!" He yells before shooting an Ork that charged him with his boltgun.

The Fia'sha could not handle the fire from the Kill-Kroozas, since its shields had been damaged in the warp malfunction and its armour unable to withstand such concentrated firepower. Before the vessel detonated in a brilliant blue explosion all the soldiers on board had evacuated to the dropships, barely escaping death by antimatter explosion.

"Looks like we're on our own" a nearby private said, watching as the antimatter explosion finally fizzled out, imploding the former starship upon itself, leaving nothing intact enough to salvage.

The dropships, under the protection of the barracudas, beelined for the imperium colony.
"We have lost our starship, please allow us permission to land" said a message to the Sqauts.
