Small Magellanic Cloud

With the Impervious Gate now fully operational, a journey that once took weeks can now be completed in under 2 hours. Colony ships continue to pour into the Cloud, as over 25 colonies have sprouted up. The Ihtorian terraforming powerhouse has just increased the first world settled into a fully fledged garden class world, with several following suit.

Impervious ships are beginning to return into Impervious Space, although a vast majority will remain in orbit to ensure stability.

Dechente thought for a moment then continued speaking "Well, I personally have only seen this installation, but stories travel that the Rannochian Empire, now part of the Republic, found a planet thought to be of Forerunner origin. Several Science teams have begun investigating that planet, with a lot more success then here"

Guilty Sparks eye flickered back into life, immediately he tried to hover away but cables attached to him kept him locked in place.

One of the engineers looked up, to see the monitor now fully awake. "Ah good, hes recharged." With that he powered down the cables. "You gave us quite a shock back there Spark, ran out of power on a collapsing installation!" he pressed on the controls once more, so that the cables would release their grip, falling to the floor. "We can perform some final checks on your general systems if you like, or you can just do whatever you want, if you like we can take you back to wherever you need to go, if you can't teleport there yourself, unless you had other ideas or something."

After gathering the wreckage of their ships, and the dead crew the Imperial ships leave the sol system. They then begin gathering for a Mendicant Bias' orders regarding the destruction of the flood.

"It is paramount that we get to 04 straight away, we must reconfigure the phase pulse generators to project and power a hard light shield around the ring, can you take me there?" He asked

"Yes, the Inquirer should be fully capable of making it to Installation 04 in a relativity short space of time. However we will have to clear it with the T'au empire, who control it." He paused, while one engineer made contact with the bridge as to relay the information, "Did you meet them while on the installation?"

We can go now, however our man on the ground may have to tell those in his location, as to give a heads up." With that a few brief messages were relayed, before the Forerunner on the comms relay spoke to the engineer, "We are on our way, but will hold off on the approach until the T'au agrees." The engineer then thought once more, "If we cannot get confirmation quickly would you be able to message the T'au from here, or at the Installation perhaps?"

Repair efforts continue to advance at a moderate to slow pace. Ihtorian terraforming ships have arrived to deliver atmosphere, water, and other necessary concoctions needed to sustain life support. Exploration teams penetrating into the depths of the installation have discovered both ancient Flood and Forerunner DNA, so the origins of the ancient construct have become known to us. Defensive constructs have also arrived from Impervious Space to reinforce Impervious holdings.

On the local manufacturing planet, mechanical devices whirled as ships were under construction. Those on ground were looking over current reports when one of the lights and alarms began to activate. Upon inspection it appeared that two ships had been spotted, large and probably unencountered. It was decided that the part of the planet's defense fleet, not considerably powerful but slightly more so now that the UEG had attacked installation 03, would be sent to investigate.

When they arrived they could see two very large, and incredibly advanced ships, something that they had not yet encountered. Scans showed that they possessed considerable firepower and so immediately attack formation was made, a typical protocol. A message was sent. "This the Juron planetary defense fleet, please state your name, nation and reason for arrival." They awaited response from the new 'visitors'.

Go to docking station Gamma, it should be relativity easy to spot, with a few signals to direct you." The starships waited to escort the two other ships down to the planet's surface.

A group of construction ships appeared around Citadel, the presence of rail-guns clearly visible. Apparently, every ship in the Corporate Navies of the Caldari had some sort of weaponry on board. They began their work as soon as the first rays of the sun lit up their hulls. Slowly, the shape of a gigantic battle-station emerged from all the scaffolding and gravity lasers. Great ion cannons were installed, along with bomb holds and missile launchers. The ships stopped their work, and docked at the Supercarriers for a break. The station looked half finished, and it was, but the barrels of the multiple war machines already looked menacing. The station was big enough to be seen from the planet's surface, and the citizens of the cities below covered their mouths in shock. The Caldari were obviously very powerful allies.

Lord Hood arrived at the office of the Chancellor for a meeting. What he wished to speak to him about was a threat to the Senate.

With the Imperium's acceptance of their soverignity, The Sabbat Worlds quickly formed a stable government, led by Regent Ibram Gaunt and a Council with a Representative from each System. The Sabbat Forces, with hundreds of Imperial Guard Regiments and the Minotaurs chapter, quickly expelled the Chaps who have been plauging the Worlds, as well as the remaining Ork threat. The Adeptus Mechanicus who joined the Sabbat Worlds began work on creating a Second Founding chapter from the Minotaurs gene-seed.

The entire Caldari army was going through a genetical augmentation. It would be a 5 step process, with a cople days between each part. Today, only the eyes of the soldiers would be augmented. They would be able to see in the infra-red spectrum, have a focus ability, etc. Of course, the entire procedure would take days. But still, atleast one tenth of the Caldari army was already walking around with cat-like eyes.
