His synthetics, not yours.
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

While Synthetics exist within the SCE, they are strictly controlled and are aptly called LAI's or Limited Artificial Intelligence. The SCE make extensive use of LAIs as co-pilots for mecha, aircraft, and other military vehicles. These vehicles technically don't require organic pilots at all, but they retain space for organic crew members due to the Tycho Conventions passed near three generations ago and the public discourse against freely armed machines. LAIs do not develop avatars, or a residual self image. LAIs can carry on conversations, develop personalities and have emotional responses, but given their role in military operations, it is a common practice to periodically purge LAI personality files to prevent their persona from interfering with their work. It can be problematic when the robot brain inside the 70 ton main battle mecha decides it is a conscientious objector to war and doesn't want to fight.

But of course, this is just one branch of Machine Intelligence that exists within the SCE.

That's kind've like my AI.

The Logic engines do not posses sentience.

The only semi-sentient AI are the machine spirits in the Titans, and landraiders, but there are protocols in place to prevent them from going rogue.

Would you guys have a problem with the Eve Gate re-opening at the center of the forge world? Just thinking it would be epic as all fuck if as you guys are readying to invade the planet it gets destroyed and I start putting a massive fleet through it. Would make for a intense first contact.

Yes I have a problem, because I can't replace planets easily.

When the gate opens it will release massive amounts of energy, easily enough to boil the oceans and blast the atmosphere off of any planet with in 2-4 AU.

Which would easily destroy the Citadel.

Woot New Panti to the rescue with a new plot line!

Hopefully the Flood outbreak will create some galactic cooperation and pull me out of isolation.

It doesn't mean you would lose it. It would just become a far bigger battle than just fighting some orks.

It'd be like the orks fighting us and the Flood while the Flood fought us. I just think it'd add a nice addition and get everyone more involved with each other.

I'm letting you guys decide where the Flood land, I'm gonna have them land in one of my systems as well.

Oh, oh, oh, I HAVE AN IDEA. What if the flood land on the Graia, then the they start taking over the surface, then as you guys fall back to the underground (I'm assuming this is a a FORGE world with tons of underground infrastructure, if not hollow or all infrastructure) after that happens the Eve Gate re-opens ~8 au away, bathing the planet's surface in radiation for a few hours, solving most of your flood problem. Then we go and merrily fight the flood together.
