Since the Warp is peaceful thanks to the God Emperor, the Ether is the only thing that cannot be tamed(it is a multiverse and each one is be created and destroyed at the same time so it is a place of utter madness for those who are foreign to it.) and I wanted to say that is able to infect some of the Imperium's humans that accidently stumbled upon a gateway to the Ether and were transformed by its madness and became the minions of the Ether (or in this case the Ether Marines how great) and they will seek to carve out a new empire away from the powers of the Imperium, but they will be the chaos marines equivalent(just without the Miri-voh Shiri)
