No. You'd have to sail ships through the atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans. That would take bloody ages. You'd then meet our ships who would be very suspicious and probably would blovk you from entering the pacific or getting to that part of Canada.

1) You can't colonise all of that in one go.
2) Why not colonise the east coast? It's much quicker and easier to get to. The Vikings even had colonies in Greenland and Eastern Canada so you would already have a bit of a historical link to them as you are the Scandinavian nations.

You can certainly send people to colonise it if you want. It would certainly be much easier than sailing all the way around to the other side of the country. You could probably even send some people to start a colony on Newfoundland as well. I remember reading that there was evidence the Vikings had briefly had a colony there.
