If it's a wasteland (why would you even take it? Lol) then there should be a minimum of like two or three posts to at least establish that you're colonizing some land. You should say you're sending ships out, then wait a few posts to say where the ships are going/arriving. None of this: "I declare war on Spain and also my ships dock in Indonesia and it's mine now."

Indeed, you have to say that your troops are moving. You obviously can't teleport across an ocean. However if it's a wasteland you obviously don't have to detail any incidents with natives and whatever. For example:

Post 1: Troops set out into the wastes of Siberia in order to claim the lands up to the Yenisei River.
Post 2: The troops had reached the Yenisei River the lands were now all under the control of Fakelandia.

I would say that's fine.

that is the reason I didn't "colonise" them. I gave them their state, under the Tsardom, it is like a country intergrating in EU by force xD, and I'm going to convert their political system in the elective like in the Tsardom. The resistance is probably going to be found as new parties in Algiere and it will depend if the majority of people is going to elect them.

that is the reason I didn't "colonise" them. I gave them their state, under the Tsardom, it is like a country intergrating in EU by force xD, and I'm going to convert their political system in the elective like in the Tsardom.
