Name: Lady Alyria Essos
Age: 70
Gender: Female
Class: Fleshcrafter Mage
Appearance: This, but often cloaked.

Personality: When she doesn't feel compelled to commit a horrid act in the interest of her experimentation--and, if you're her inferior, you follow orders--she's actually a fairly nice sorceress. Her ultimate goals do involve helping people, after all. Her particular upbringing among the nobility fo her homeland has gotten to her head in some ways, and she genuinely gets annoyed when "lesser people" obstruct their betters. This doesn't just necessarily mean the lower classes, however.

Skills & strengths: Alyria was one of the most powerful Fleshcrafters of her land, and can transform herself or anyone (though not objects) into virtually anything else. With time, she can even make a few more permanent enhancements. She's also reasonably skilled at strategy and the running of an organization, from back when she worked under the Order of Mysteries

Weaknesses: For all Alyria's skill, she hasn't mastered a way of making her spells go further than touch range, which is a problem for her as she isn't too skilled in close combat. In addition, using her spells on more powerful targets is pretty time-consuming for her (around 2-4 minutes), and not the kind of thing she can do while transformed into say, a dragon, herself. She also has a very slight tendency to ignore the kinds of details about something she finds boring--the life of some local guard, things like that.

Bio: Lady Alyria Essos was born to the noble rulers of a more pastoral locale, and wasn't entirely happy about it. She wanted to see the magic of the urban world, and she eventually, with some cajoling, got her wish--especially when her potential for magic was revealed. Her father compelled her to remember her duty to country however, so she joined up with The Order of Mysteries, an extension of a city guard dedicated to the policing of magic.

It was here she grew absolutely fed up with the way the nobility did things. They were constantly backstabbing each other, trying to do so to she and her compatriots, and for all that were generally incompetent. Any love of her homeland evaporated in her with time...so eventually she left the Order of Mysteries, after having received a fairly substantial gold reward for her services, and rented out some new space in a villa just outside the city, never really being heard from again.

Or, so people think. In actual fact, Alyria's been patiently working on experiments and building connections with groups inside the city with an interest in revolution, and her involvement with both has not been unrelated...and she has grand plans, to at first magically create the perfect noble line, and secondly put it into power...and once she's done with that, she won't be finished with her work, most certainly...

Equipment: She's often got a fairly unobtrusive breastplate beneath her cloak when she predicts things might get violent.

Additional info: She has a lot of physiologically and psychologically warped creatures--some of them human--in her basement, which is a rather sprawling place due to her own enhanced ability to tunnel it with personal transmutation spells at her disposal.

America if it didn't get involved in Word War I. And the Marxist ideal of violent revolution was carried out more heavily. And Hoover was assassinated. And loads of other things that eventually lead to fascism.
(But no, not a fascist)

That, by the way, is the short version of her story.

But yeah, I'm hoping I have some excuse to move her around at some point...

I've kept Chespir's backstory pretty secret, but what's known to most people is that he was in a war. There's probably going to be another information drop in a flashback...
So yeah... Hi!

So hi. I plan on putting up an app, but before I do that, what are the species/races found in this rp?
Also, a quick description of the characteristics of each in the world of the rp would be nice.

We don't really have a set encyclopedia of races, so whatever you want is fine, as long as it isn't too grandiose (i.e Dragon).
Personality-wise, same as above, but a few basic things usuing the already-used races:
Ogres tend to be gruff and stick to themselves.
Elves are creative
Humans are...humans, I guess :p

Seems I've been keeping everyone bogged down, eh? :(

Not true at all, Vid. I would appreciate some continuity with posting though, as we'll either need you a lot in the next arc or you'll be dead. I hope for the former, I just see you so little recently.

Alignment wise, are you looking for Neutral-Good and up?

Probably neutral-neutral is the minimum.

Oh, well, she doesn't do killing. Killing is wasteful. Better to transform your enemy into a harmless seed and grow them back, minus the aggression/ignorance/loyalty to something other than the collective issues, in your lab!
:p
