I figured out why I associated the character with RoTK...

Zhou Lao is a really smart but douchebaggy guy who is recommended by Kong Rong to Cao Cao for taking a letter of alliance across china to Liu Bei. Like, a quarter of a chapter is dedicated to Lao's Roflquest where he's a dick to almost everyone in china, eventually he gets executed for insulting Sun Ce and he doesn't complete his quest.

Just a convenient coincidence with an opposite name
