You are obviously very uneducated when it comes to North American colonialism, the average journey from Europe to the New World only took two months, ships were able to carry around three to four months of supplies. And I timed the settlement fairly, waiting three months of IC posts to state my arrival. I even burned down half the goddam village since you couldn't stop whining about it. So please quiet down and get your complaining over with, I did everything fairly and properly, I do not need any of your flimsy complaints. I have waited one and a half years of IC posts to finally get the colony up and running, which is more than generous. The OP even said I was allowed to colonize the Americas, and the OP rulings are the rulings of God (sometimes).

The Spanish did that. You don't have their tech; nobody does except the Portuguese. You'd probably be able to make it over, but to grow it into a substantial town? That would be near impossible unless you shipped crims over for a penal colony, and even then, you'd need a fair amount of farming techniques to get much done.

Musket? The arquebus is anything but a musket. Muskets do not exist in the 1500's, arquebuses do, they were the father of the musket. Did you even read the article? Arquebuses are not Dutch either, they were used in the Ottoman Empire, Japan, Spain, and a long list of other countries. Hernando Cortez conquered the Aztects largely due to the arquebus. Next time at least read the article before you bring out the arrogant sarcasm.
