Quick question(s)!

Will we be in Dawnfall for long? Or are we there for the day, then we're never going to see it again in any part of the story except for the end's return sequence? Or will we go off and do a bunch of small quests and pop back every so often as Dawnfall acts as a homebase?
How did I get this gay?

Ordinance 2 demons, for those who want to know when I evoke them later. I'm thinking that's about 0% of you, but... thought you ought to know.

IMAGE

Death-dealing black-clad demons who wear wide-brimmed black hats. They look slow, but are actually insanely fast, moving in sudden lunges with their long, spidery legs. Though they aren't very tough, ankou are frightening and deceptively strong. They kill by crushing the windpipe or breaking the neck. An ankou never uses weapons or draws blood; they don't need to.

IMAGE

Vicious, beastlike demons who live for fighting. They are often considered the "quintessential" demon, and they have many goatlike features. A battledemon is not particularly smart or strong, but they often make up for these shortcomings with ferocity and the deadly blood-cleavers they carry. A battledemon isn't tough to outwit, though; their problem solving abilities consist of eating or smashing. This spawned the joke, "How many battledemons does it take to light a torch? Doesn't matter how many, they'll just smash it or eat it!" It's an Evoker inside joke and no one ever gets it...

IMAGE / IMAGE

Demons who are the embodiment of lust and pleasure. They are known primarily for their sexual aspect, and as such are often overlooked as fighting demons. In actuality, they can be very effective fighters, especially due to their wings, which grant them increased mobility. They carry a variety of weapons, the most common being spiked flails, bullwhips, lances, and other longer-ranged melee weapons of that nature, which allow them to strike from the air. Incubi and Succubi are usually blue and red, respectively. They are also among the more intelligent demons, if not the most intelligent.

IMAGE

The Huldr are immense, humanoid demons, sometimes being as tall as 12 feet. They are ridiculously plodding and slow, as well as being often covered in moss and lichen. Huldr hides are made of living stone, and as such are very difficult to kill. A huldr rarely wields any weapons, but on occasion they will throw tree limbs and large rocks at more distant foes. Huldr may be slow, but their strength is immense and they can easily kill a man with a single blow.

The first is an actual Celtic death demon, plus a pinch of SCP-173. And the last is just a troll by another name. "Huldrefolk" is a somewhat catch-all name for troll-like creatures in Norse folktales. I gave it rocky skin because I wanted to add in the "turns into stone" element of trolls without making it too overpowered. Did you dislike them for balance reasons, or aesthetic ones?

Remember how you're not legally allowed to touch evoked demons?
That's one of the major reasons why. :p
Honestly, though, I don't ever foresee using them outside of a combat application. They're the air support of the Evoker's repertoire.

Balance.

Well, I can change that. Are they too powerful? I tried to limit them both, but I definitely see where you're coming from. An ankou is unable to draw blood or do things that aren't breaking your neck, and they're really weak; and a huldr is ridiculously slow and stupid; plus neither of them use weapons of any kind. Do you have any further suggestions?
