He came across a lanky Albino man napping on top of a large hill that overlooked a lake. It was like something out of a painting and the view took his breath away. A Simipour rested curled up on his chest and the noises of several pokemon at play could be heard in the surrounding area.

On the chopper, one of the decon-ret team members took off their helmet. It was a tall woman. "Hi, I'm Professor Yew. I think I might know something about that Black Muk."

Casi nodded and looked up at her, as did Francesca and Nicola. "It's a pleasure to meet you. So what was that?"

Yew thought for a moment. "Team Rocket, a Kanto based crime organisation, always seemed to have an affinity for poison type pokémon. There were rumours of pokémon being captured and used for experimentation, to increase the power of the pokémon and give them new abilities. I believe that, when I received the picture you took from Officer Jenny, that it might have been a way to hold an extra-powerful pokémon. Akin to a reinforced pokéball. However Team Rocket disbanded after the defeat of their leader, Giovanni, and split into various splinter groups. I believe that one of the groups came to the Harvor region, bringing with them Rocket technology. However the tech was still in the works and after the group discovered they could not control the pokémon, they released it somewhere they believed nobody ever went. Into the depths of the Sludge Fields. However, thanks to you, we were able to discover proof of Team Rocket's presence within the region. The Muk will need to be contained and studied as it is too powerful and harmful to continue living in the wild."

Casi nodded as the chopper touched down on the roof of the Sludge City police station. Officer Jenny led Casi through to the canteen, ordering a burger. "Do you want anything?" she asked.

Casi nodded. "I could do with a burger, maybe some tea too."

Officer Jenny nodded and ordered another burger with chips and two large mugs of tea. She brought them over to the table and sat across from Casi. "So what took you into the fields?" she asked.

Casi shrugged. "I just went to find some wild pokémon and do some training. However I ran into a group of young Trubbish who were scared of something so I thought I'd help them out. I thought whatever was terrorising them might be a good capture."

Officer Jenny nodded. "Logical thought. So what happened then?"

"After being attacked by two Seviper, I was split up from my Beldum, Larry, who went after the other Seviper whilst me and Nicola, still a Trubbish at the time, battled the other. When we found Larry, he was being attacked by the black Muk. It also enveloped the defeated Seviper." Casi paused, taking a gulp of tea. "After recalling Larry before the pokémon could do more damage, it attacked us so I had to use my friends to fight for our lives. Literally. Then after the Muk was defeated, helped by Nicola evolving, I called my mentor. Frankie, the gym leader on Aqua Island. I also sent him a picture of the capsule."

Jenny nodded, chomping down into her burger. "That matches what I was told," she replied. "I don't have any further questions but I'd be grateful if you didn't leave the region. I also suggest you don't talk about this. Whilst it may not be bound by security, it could cause panic if people think there are more modified pokémon out there."

Casi nodded. "I don't have any plans to leave and I won't tell. I'm wondering where I might go next," he said.

"In light of your help, I'd suggest going to Snowridge City or Grullo City. If you want, I'll have a car take you there," she offered.

Casi nodded gratefully. "I think I'd like to go to Snowridge, that sounds like an interesting place."

Jenny nodded and the pair continued their meals. "I'll have a car pick you up outside."

Casi thought for a moment. "Would it be possible to go to the pokémon centre first? I have a call to make."

Jenny nodded again. The two ate in silence before Jenny escorted him to the main entrance. "See you in an hour," she said as Casi left.

Casi walked over to the pokémon centre, finding the transporter system. He called Frankie on his pokégear. "Hi Casi," said Frankie as he picked up. "How was the debrief?"

"It was alright. I was wondering if I could ask you a favour?" he asked. "Could you look after my extra pokémon please?"

Frankie nodded. "I'd be happy to. I'm proud of you for completing your team. What are you going to send my way?"

"I'd like to send back a Grimer called Sludge, a Seviper called Jessie, a large Foongus called Burt and Joey please," he decided.

"Send them now. I'll look after them all while you travel," replied Frankie.

Casi nodded and loaded the balls into the pokéball transporter system. "Sending now," he announced. Frankie told him to enter a code and Casi followed the instructions.

The balls disappeared, being sucked into the large network of pokéballs being sent around the world. Casi waited tensely until Frankie replied "Got them!" cheerfully.

"Thanks Frankie," he replied. "It's always good to know you're on my side."

"No problem, you make sure you talk to your parents too. Take care," the gym leader ended, hanging up the call.

With the extra pokémon sent home, Casi headed over to the noticeboard and left a note, along with his pokégear number.

Have a Grimer. Looking to trade for a fire type egg.

Casi checked his watch. It would be 45 minutes before Jenny arrived to give him a ride.

"Heloo there! I wasn't expecting anybody in the park today! Didn't the woman at the desk try to call me? I swear that lady thinks I don't take the job seriously - I'd prove that I'm good at this if she only gave me a chance." He said as he brushed leaves off of his Fur coat - that looked like it was made of Primeape fur.
"I don't believe we've met I'm Eucalypse Gym leader and Safari Park Guide Derek Yo, how are you?"
It was hard to believe the man was sleeping just a second ago, he seemed so upbeat and energetic that it was kind of contagious. Besides how fast he talked he seemed pretty likeable.

A small, but energetic Mudkip burst from the Pokeball, and moved its foot back and forth in an aggressive manner.

Jake decided not to start the battle with Eevee as was his usual tactic, but instead went with Zubat.

Alright Zubat, give that thing a wing attack!

Zubat emerged in a red glow of light a few feet above and in front of Jake. It immediately searched out the Mudkip and dove down with a hardened wing.

Jake decided not to start the battle with Eevee as was his usual tactic, but instead went with Zubat.

Alright Zubat, give that thing a wing attack!

Zubat emerged in a red glow of light a few feet above and in front of Jake. It immediately searched out the Mudkip and dove down with a hardened wing.

"Mudkip! Endure it with a Bide!"

Mudkip then assumed a defensive position, and braced for Zubat's wing attack, which hit, and did some damage to Mudkip, who kept hold of his tight posture.

Zubat returned to the air and waited for Jake's command.

Good job, Zubat. Hit it with a supersonic, then go for a bite!

The bat unleashed its supersonic in an attempt to confuse the Mudkip. It didn't wait to verify the effect however and swooped down again with its jaws ready to clamp on whatever they found.

Zubat returned to the air and waited for Jake's command.

Mudkip immediately seemed unphased by the supersonic, as it broke defensive posture and went on an rampage to attack Zubat.

The Simipour leapt onto his back for a piggyback and a Tangela hid behind the Albino gym leader out of shyness.
There was the sound fo crashing from the woods as another pokemon made it's way to Derek and the flapping of wings overhead. The sneaseal simply leapt down between Derek and Bale - it's look was now one of curiosity as opposed to warning.

[Acroticus]

"Trapinch, I need you to make friends with that Pidgey." Trapinch was the friendliest pokemon Kevin had ever seen. Trapinch walked closer to the tree and began to speak.

"Tra... Trapinch Trapinch Tra"

The Pidgey flew down cautiously, landing in front of the Trapinch. "Pidepidgey," it replied. It wasn't long before the two were having a great conversation.

"Good Trapinch. Keep talking, get it to agree to come with us."
"Trapinch!" It snapped at Kevin, reminding him to calm down. Then he continued to talk to Pidgey.

As Zubat swept in to bite it was hit by a vicious tackle from Mudkip. It fell to the ground a few feet away and Mudkip went for another hit.

Zubat get out of there!

The bat flapped viciously to get up off the ground. It managed to avoid the water-type by just millimeters. Once high enough up Jake ordered the next attack.

The Pidgey flew down cautiously, landing in front of the Trapinch. "Pidepidgey," it replied. It wasn't long before the two were having a great conversation.

The Pidgey considered the proposition as it talked to Trapinch. It looked around the forest, thinking before shrugging. It flapped its wings and took off, flying a loop-the-loop before landing on Kevin's head. "Pidgey!" it chirped happily.

The leech-life hit Mudkip, and restored some of Zubat's health. Mudkip then retaliated with a water gun shot into the air at Zubat.

Zubat stopped flapping and dropped a few feet in a fraction of a second. The water gun went right overhead.

"Good Trapinch. Keep talking, get it to agree to come with us."
"Trapinch!" It snapped at Kevin, reminding him to calm down. Then he continued to talk to Pidgey.

Kevin was overjoyed. "You're coming with us?" Pidgey nodded. "Thats wonderful!" Kevin took out an empty pokeball and tapped it on Pidgey. The pokemon disappeared within the bounds of the small pokeball, which landed on Kevin's lap, shaking three times before finally settling. Kevin then recalledTrapinsh as well.

The water was blasting at Zubat. It was too close for an effective dodge. Jake had a flash fast stroke of genius, well, what he thought was genius.

Use that wing to split the water!

Zubat knew immediately what to do. It maintained its attack but drifted slightly to the left. Its hardened wing took the full brunt of the torrent of water, splitting it in two directions as Zubat continued flying at Mudkip.

Casi considered this and sent a reply. Although he scoffed at the pretentious name of the trainer. He'd also been hoping for a female Vulpix to be honest.

I'd be happy to consider your offer. The Grimer is named Buzz Killington XVII. He was captured at the Sludge Fields and should be an asset.

(OOC: Because pretentious names are awesome, right? Also, feel free to make another offer with one of the other list pokémon. I have a feeling this one is going to be a show-trade.)
