(OOC: 1, but it can be a really good one)

Casi was waiting in the Sludge Fields, looking at this sinister canister. It had been about an hour and a half since the Muk was sucked inside. Interestingly, all the wild pokémon still seemed to be giving the area a very wide berth, although the goop was returning to its usual colour. The rest of his pokémon gathered around him, on edge for another attack. Casi's pokégear began to ring, from a withheld number. He answered it. "Hello?" he asked cautiously.

"Mr Delasy, this is Officer Jenny from Sludge City," came the reply from the other side. "We're on our way to your location, along with a decontamination/retrieval team. a medic and a professor who seems to think she might know what this canister is. Stay where you are and we'll be with you within approximately 20 minutes."

Casi nodded. "I'll see you soon," he replied. The call ended and he turned to the pokémon gathered closely around him. "We'll all be out of here soon," he said. The pokémon cheered, gathering in closer.

Approximately 15 minutes later, the Pokégear rang again. Chopper rotors were heard somewhere to the South. "What is your current location?" asked Officer Jenny. "The smog is too thick to see."

Casi thought for a moment. "Look for the light," he replied before turning to the little Joltik on his shoulder. "Francesca, use Electro Ball into the sky!" he ordered.

"Jolt!" nodded the pokémon and climbed onto Casi's head, charging up her attack before releasing it. The powerful attack cut through the smog and into the air, before exploding like a firework.

"We have your location," replied Officer Jenny. The line cut off and the chopper descended slowly through the fog.

Casi turned to Nicola and the young Trubbish. "Could you clear a really big patch of ground?" he asked.

The group of pokémon nodded, starting to consume all the sludge within the area. A few minutes later, the chopper broke through the smog, close to Casi's impromptu helipad. With a few final manoeuvres, the chopper touched down, landing perfectly in the middle of the cleared area. First to hop off the chopper was the medic followed by Officer Jenny and Professor Yew.

"You must be Mr Delasy," said Officer Jenny formally. "I'll have the medic check you out before getting you onto the chopper. Once we're in the city, I'll need to ask you a few questions." She called the medic over, a large man followed by two Blissey. All three of the group wore suits smiliar to the decon/ret team.

"Blissey, check on the pokémon," he ordered before turning to Casi. "Are you hurt anywhere? Has the sludge made contact with you at all?"

Casi shook his head. "That group of wild Trubbish keeping the area free from sludge with my Garbodor kept sludge away from me."

The medic nodded. "That's a good thing. Did you carry out any first aid on your pokémon?"

"I gave them some Lum and Sitrus Berries," Casi replied. The medic nodded approvingly before Casi spoke again. "However my Beldum got lost battling a wild Seviper. I found it near to the Black Muk." He offered over the pokéball and the medic took it, along with producing a handheld computer device, scanning Larry's ball.

"I've never seen anything like that before," the medic said quietly. "This Steel type was definitely poisoned before it fainted. That should be impossible. However it's only fainted." He opened the ball, producing an item from his bag. The fainted pokémon materialised, shuddering weakly. "It's ok," he reassured before spraying the pokémon. Casi watched as the medic sprayed more of the solution over the Beldum. Soon it was floating again happily.

"Beldum!" cried Larry happily before heading straight into Casi's arms.

The medic smiled. "Max Revives always do the job," he said with a certain satisfaction. As he watched the pair, he noticed something different. "Have you noticed your Beldum's claw is gold rather than the usual silver?" the medic asked.

Casi took a glance. "It used to be silver," he said. "It must have happened in the battle with the Muk. When I found him, I saw it hit Larry, I also saw it envelop the fained Seviper. I think it digested it."

The medic nodded, taking out a syringe. "I'm going to have to take a sample," he said. Casi nodded and he carefully inserted the syringe into Larry, taking a sample of its blood. The syringe filled with a green liquid and the medic nodded, as Casi stared with wide eyes. "And you thought all blood was red," the medic said with a grin, before distributing the sample between 10 sterile sample bottles, injecting into each through the cap.

Around the site, the Blissey did their work, using Refresh to remove any residual status inflictions and Softboiled to provide eggs for energy. They turned to the Trubbish and Nicola, doing the same job for the poison types.

The decon-ret team, supervised by Officer Jenny, took samples of the surrounding sludge and of the residual black goop they found before two members brought over a large metal box from the chopper. Photos were taken of the area and energy readings were taken from all of Casi's pokémon. One of the team called out a Grumpig, in its own decon suit to help out. The canister was carefully lifted by the Grumpig using Psychic and placed carefully in the box. The box was then carefully transported and stowed in the helicopter. The team began to pack up, signalling their job was complete. Officer Jenny climbed into the chopper and signalled for everybody else to board.

The medic stood up. "It's time to go," he said matter-of-factly before recalling his two Blissey. Casi nodded, recalling all of his pokémon except Francesca and Nicola. The electric spider stayed on his shoulder whilst the large Garbodor herded the group of young Trubbish, still maintaining a perimeter against the sludge, over.

Casi crouched down, looking at the wild pokémon. "The Black Muk has gone now so you're safe. Take care of yourselves ok?"

"Trub," nodded the group solemnly, tears welling in their eyes. Nicola extended her arm, gently wiping each one of their tears away.

Casi smiled. "You're all amazing pokémon, I know you'll do great out here. Take care of yourselves ok?"

The Trubbish nodded, jumping up to hug Casi and Nicola one by one. The large Garbodor looked at Casi as he stood up. "Gargarbodor?" she asked, unsure of what her master wanted her to do. Should she stay and help the Trubbish or would they be ok? A tear welled up at the prospect of leaving Casi. He came over and hugged the newly evolved pokémon.

"You're still coming with me hun. After this experience, they'll be able to take on anything in this field. However I still need you to watch my back," he said with a little smile. Nicola jumped up happily, smiling wide. "Now come with me, we need to get on the helicopter.

Nicola nodded, following Casi. He helped her into the side-doors before climbing up himself. As he looked back, the group of Trubbish waved goodbye and the sludge began to slowly encroach into the cleared area. Casi and Nicola waved goodbye as the chopper took off and headed back into Sludge City.

On the chopper, one of the decon-ret team members took off their helmet. It was a tall woman. "Hi, I'm Professor Yew. I think I might know something about that Black Muk."

Kevin was almost to Eucalypse City when he stopped once again for a break. He pulled a piece of bread out from his pocket, and began to eat. As he did, he spotted something in the bushes.

The Pidgey shuffled forwards, taking the bread offered to it. The bird carefully pecked the bread out of Kevin's palm before retreating a few feet to eat.

The first pokémon Bale saw in the park was a large Drowzee, resting under a tree.

The Pidgey did, hopping closer and closer before pecking the crumbs tentatively from Kevin's palm.

What's that, Bale asked himself while getting his pokedex.

Drowzee, the Hypnotic Pokémon. It is said to feed on the dreams of its opponents. It is also known for its powerful Psychic attack.

Bale watched it for a second and then moved on to see what else there was in the Safari

"Alright, great Pidgey." Kevin slid his hand down to his belt, and dropped a single pokeball to the ground. Trapinch appeared besides him. Kevin hoped that Pidgey wouldn't be scared and fly away.

"Trapinch, I need you to make friends with that Pidgey." Trapinch was the friendliest pokemon Kevin had ever seen. Trapinch walked closer to the tree and began to speak.

"Tra... Trapinch Trapinch Tra"

The Pidgey flew down cautiously, landing in front of the Trapinch. "Pidepidgey," it replied. It wasn't long before the two were having a great conversation.

Instead, he caught a glimpse of a rare Zangoose feeding on an indigenous Ekans it had killed.

Bale quickly walked furter, he found it a creepy pokemon and didn't liked the idea of killing other pokemon.
