"Well not just handsome but a heart of gold..." SHe smiled at Phil's blush
"so why you heading to Kani Town Philip?" She asked resuming her casual stroll while Bugby absentmindedly fought against a nearby Beedrill.

Phil looked awkwardly at her. "That's a... difficult question." Her silence led him to continue. "I'm attempting to raise a team of Pokemon. Since Kani Town has a gym, I figured that I should start somewhere." He held back his fear of normal types, his brain realizing that it was probably a good idea to keep that quiet.

"Not many people would go after the dark team right away, you got some kinda secret weapons you're hiding form lil' old me?" She asked in an innocent tone

"Not many people would go after the dark team right away, you got some kinda secret weapons you're hiding form lil' old me?" She asked in an innocent tone

Phil waved his arm behind him and said "No secrets that aren't standing or floating back there. Honestly, I'm going to have to rely on Hariyama here."

" But I got to admit your Hariyama is pretty scary." She whistled when she dropped back down and Bugby came over with a few sitngers in his shell.
"Bugby, could you go to that pond and birng us some water - it's getting really hot"
The Scizor saluted and dashed off.
"But he ain't got nothing on this!" She held up a pokeb ball. "My Heatmor!"
"But I think the two of us are hot enough eh Hun?" She laughed and slapped him on the back while waiting for Scizor to come back

As Tentacool battled the Barboach he heard something rustle in the bushes behind him and a Razor Leaf attack exploded from the bush. "Kirsty, use Fire Spin! Shoot them down!"

"Torchic!" cried the chicken and unleashed a huge spiral of fire. The flaming leaves fell to the ground and something walked out of the bushes, angry.

Casi removed the Barboach from the hook and tossed it back into the lake. "Charlie, Bubblebeam!" The jellyfish fired another jet of hardened bubbles.

(OOC: That's fine. Just looking to train and have my pokémon become stronger, not capture unless the pokémon is shiny or something.)

The Bubblebeam hit Barboach. Unlike the rest, this Barboach struck back at Tentacool with a Mud Shot.

As Tentacool battled the Barboach he heard something rustle in the bushes behind him and a Razor Leaf attack exploded from the bush. "Kirsty, use Fire Spin! Shoot them down!"

"Torchic!" cried the chicken and unleashed a huge spiral of fire. The flaming leaves fell to the ground and something walked out of the bushes, angry.

Two Weepinbell came towards the pool angry that Casi's team were swimming in their drinking water.
One launched another Razor leaf towards Torchic while the other sent long and powerful vines after Charlie in the pool.

Casi removed the Barboach from the hook and tossed it back into the lake. "Charlie, Bubblebeam!" The jellyfish fired another jet of hardened bubbles.

(OOC: That's fine. Just looking to train and have my pokémon become stronger, not capture unless the pokémon is shiny or something.)

The Bubblebeam hit Barboach. Unlike the rest, this Barboach struck back at Tentacool with a Mud Shot.

Casi turned back as the Barboach fired the Mud Shot. "Dive down to dodge!" he ordered. The Tentacool dived beneath the surface of the water and the Mud Shot hit the surface, causing a large splash as it missed the pokémon. "Now use Supersonic!"

"Tentacool!" he nodded before firing a large highly-pitched wave of confusion at the Barboach. The waters of the lake rippled with the attack. Casi turned to face the Weepinbell.

"Nicola, use Psychic on the Vine Whip! Kirsty, Fire Spin again!" he ordered.

The two pokémon nodded and the Weepinbell's vines glowed with a blue aura before being sent back at the attacking pokémon. Kirsty shot the leaves down with another Fire Spin before firing again at the two grass-poison types.

The two pokémon nodded and the Weepinbell's vines glowed with a blue aura before being sent back at the attacking pokémon. Kirsty shot the leaves down with another Fire Spin before firing again at the two grass-poison types.

The Psychic vines collided with Weepinbell's face. It got confused by this, and began to ponder how it managed to hit itself. Apprently it was no Einstein.
The other used it's vines to pull itself to a nearby rock out of the way of Kirsty, upon stopping it launched Stun Spore at the Torchic.

The Supersonic attack missed. Barboach then had a brief lapse of memory, resulting in Amnesia, which raised its special defense.

Phil cracked a small smile and looked straight at Rachel. "Was that a challenge, my dear?" He looked back at Hariyama, "Because Hariyama and I are ready if you are." Hariyama lumbered over, interested in what might happen.

The Tentacool countered with Bubblebeam but the bubbles could only do so much to hold off the attack before the debris and sediment slammed into him, doing a fair bit damage. The pokémon fired an Aurora Beam at the water-ground pokémon.

Kirsty went in search of the Weepinbell, a fireball readied in her beak.

Furret launched a Quick Attack, striking Corphish first, but then taking damage from the Bubblebeam. Furret appeared to have low HP, but that would not cease it's fighting spirit.

(OOC: Actually I did design the map. Acro invented all the cities and locations except Snowridge, Bleakfrost Cave, Farifall and Goldenleaf Forest, which coincidentally happen to all fall on the same consecutive path.)

The Aurora Beam did moderate damage to the ground-water type. The wild Barboach then attempted a Water Pulse, not knowing any better.

There are those random houses in the game with an old lady that lets you rest, you could have happened upon one of those random items you find lying around, shit you could be creative and have like a traveling medic with a Chansey or Togetic that just heals you for the sake of randomly being nice.)

Suddenly a gleam caught Casi's eye as the Weepinbell that hid earlier had been charging a huge solar beam during his battle

Kirsty managed to slightly shield herself from the blast, but the Weepinbell had been charging for a long time - and the solarbeam collided with Kirtsy. If she wasn't a fire type the attack would have made her faint for sure. But she struggled back to her feet to stare down the Weepinbell
