The wild Barboach swam back into the depths of the lake.

Casi put half of a Lum Berry onto the float rod and cast it back out into the lake. He then went back to throwing lures while Nicola and Kirsty watched the float.

"I'm around, I'd prefer to stay out of sight for a bit - a girl has to keep her mystery y'know." She said

"My Scizor was defending itself - y'all just lucky that lapras knows mist..." She sounded like she was sulking.

Phil spotted a chance to antagonize the woman and couldn't resist. "I'm lucky? I'd say that your Scizor was lucky that my Lapras knows Mist, otherwise you obviously would have lost." Phil cracked a smile as he finished his sentence.

Lapras looked at him oddly as he belittled the woman. "Don't be rude." Her voice carried clearly across the clearing.

"You should listen to her Philip" She chuckled, "After all she did convince me not to let my powerhouse after you"
A woman with lime green hair and the uniform of pokemon rangers landed on Lapras' back and smiled imposhly, flashing her white even teeth.
"Names Rachel; Howdy hansome" She said warmly.
Her Scizor landed next to phil and waved with the excitement of a toddler who ate too much ice cream.

Casi pulled the Corphish onto the land and looked at the Joltik on his shoulder as he distangled the hook from the lobster pokémon and stood back. "Use Electro Ball!" he ordered. The little spider jumped into the air, firing a large ball of electricity towards the lobster.

Casi pulled the Corphish onto the land and looked at the Joltik on his shoulder as he distangled the hook from the lobster pokémon and stood back. "Use Electro Ball!" he ordered. The little spider jumped into the air, firing a large ball of electricity towards the lobster.

Corphish was almost knocked out by Joltik's attack. The wild pokemon retaliated with a Vicegrip on Joltik.

As the Vicegrip clamped around her abdomen, Francesca cried out in pain before opening her mouth and firing an Electroweb at the lobster pokémon.

"but you look about as lost as a magikarp in the Pokemon League so I thought I'd help y'll get back on track."

It was behind the counter for whatever reason, and he ended up booking it away from the center. I followed him until he dropped the ball and ended up nearly fighting over open water. She's been with me since then. For some reason that Pokemon trusts me." Lapras' voice floated into Phil's head. "You seemed like a good person. And for the most part, I was right."

Phil looked awkwardly at her. "That's a... difficult question." Her silence led him to continue. "I'm attempting to raise a team of Pokemon. Since Kani Town has a gym, I figured that I should start somewhere." He held back his fear of normal types, his brain realizing that it was probably a good idea to keep that quiet.
