Wingull took the hit, sustaining severe damage. "Use Water Gun again!" Wingull fired a stream of water at the Sableye.

The Sableye was hit again, falling over and driven backwards. The pokémon got to its feet and used Fury Swipes in a last-ditch effort to win.

Before Casi reached the desert, he reached a large lake. He decided this would be a good time for a spot of fishing. The trainer set up both rods he owned, the Milotic Co. 500SX 12' 4-piece spinning rod he'd bought in Aqua Island, and the rod the hiker had given him. A Seaking 250-FR float rod, 8', 3-piece. On the 500SX rod he attached a lure that looked like a tiny Gyarados whilst on the float he attached a small slice of Tepig bacon. Casi cast out the float rod, watching it bob in the calm lake before preparing to cast out with the lure. Before he did, he decided to call out the team so they could have some R&R.

"Metang!"
"Joltik!"
"Torchic!"
"Snover!"

Charlie decided to explore the lake whilst the other pokémon decided to find some decent resting spots. Francesca climbed up onto Casi's shoulder whilst Nicola and Kirsty stood back, watching their master fish. Sam ingrained himself into the ground whilst Larry found a nice rock and rested on it. Everything was peaceful as Casi started to cast out his lures. Nicola and Kirsty kept an eye on the float.

Wingull managed to escape the Sableye by its tail feathers. Wingull flew straight up an came back down using Wing Attack.

Without a pokeball to throw, Phil left the Sableye by the road. He continued through to forest, heading for Kani Town. As he walked he let every member of his team out of their balls (except for Lapras, Phil just couldn't find water). The team of Pokemon walked down the road, their cries echoing through Terror Forest. Phil came to a clearing. He could see a pond, as well as a large Pokemon in the clearing.

"Corphish, counter furret's furry swipes with Vicegrip!"

"Corphish, counter furret's furry swipes with Vicegrip!"

(OOC: If your not going to start staing damage I'm about to start doing it for you...)

Furret continued to slash away at Corpish, when it's attack had exhausted, Corphish caught Furret in it's Vicegrip, doing moderate damage.

The Scizor dodged with ease, leaping to the side and skidding to a halt. Instead of countering the attack Scizor began to do a strange dance - it's claws moving in ways that would not be associated with a pokemon like Scizor.

Casi carefully removed the lure from the Barboach's mouth before looking at Charlie. The jellyfish nodded and Casi threw the Barboach back into the lake. "Use Bubblebeam!" he ordered.

"Tenta!" nodded Charlie and fired a Bubblebeam at the Water-Ground type. The float rod was still bobbing around.

Phil was saddened by the disappearance of the powerful Pokemon. Even though he was out of pokeballs, he would have liked the chance to train. Phil returned Lapras to her ball, and continued towards Kani Town. He hoped to reach it soon, and without another Pokemon encounter. However, he knew better than to believe that he would.

"Hey there handsome, why'd you attack my Scizor?" A woman's voice came out of the trees surrounding Phil.
It was seductive yet Texan, a strange combinaiton Phil had never heard before.
"Were you trying to trap my poor baby? Shame you don't have the balls for it..." She sniggered sounding like she was in different directions every sylable

"I'm around, I'd prefer to stay out of sight for a bit - a girl has to keep her mystery y'know." She said

"My Scizor was defending itself - y'all just lucky that lapras knows mist..." She sounded like she was sulking.

Phil spotted a chance to antagonize the woman and couldn't resist. "I'm lucky? I'd say that your Scizor was lucky that my Lapras knows Mist, otherwise you obviously would have lost." Phil cracked a smile as he finished his sentence.

Lapras looked at him oddly as he belittled the woman. "Don't be rude." Her voice carried clearly across the clearing.

Casi started throwing his lure out again when he noticed the float bobbing about. He reeled in the pokémon.
