Garbador's Drain Punch did heavy damage to Golem, and restored some of its health.

"Golem! Use Bulldoze!"

Golem then plowed itself head-long toward at point-blank range, the ground-type attack now twice as powerful as Golem had just taken damage.

The Bulldoze attack hit, doing super-effective damage and lowering its speed. The pokémon struggled to get up. One more attack like that and Nicola would be out of the battle. The pokémon charged up another Drain Punch at point-blank range, charging up her arms and slamming them into the opposing Golem.

The super-effective attack did serious damage to the rock-type Golem and restored a fraction of Garbador's health, however his defense was as solid as his skin and he shook off the damage.

"Give her an Earthquake!"

Golem began to shake the ground again, and directed a wicked Earthquake attack at Garbador.

In front of him he noticed the tunnel panned out into a larger cavern. Beyond the piles of boulders and sounds of dripping water the passage split into two narrow pathways. An old wooden sign that had deep scratches in it read:

Phil looked around at his Pokemon, "Left it is." The group walked down the left passage, searching for the end of the tunnel.

He took the left passage. The trail was narrow and winding, but he soon came to another large cavern.

A massive stalagmite stood just left of the middle, and a tiny stream of water was trickling down through the wall into a shallow, clear pool on the right. Across the cavern was a staircase leading to another rocky platform. In a corner by some rocks stood the bones of some lost traveller. Two small Cubone were busy fighting over a dusty arm bone.

He took the left passage. The trail was narrow and winding, but he soon came to another large cavern.

James frowned at the bruise on Evee's side. He reached into his pack and pulled out a soda, took a sip, then gave the rest to Evee.
After a short break, James continued on down the dark jungle trail.

The rain had briefly subsided, but now a humid haze hung between the palms and the terms. A large banyan-like tree was growing beside a small rocky hill, it's massive roots spread out across the leafy jungle floor. As James tryed to scale over some it's huge and curvaceous roots he almost stepped on a large wild Seviper curled up between them.

The Ghastly realized he was not in for easy prey, and turned back around and floated into the darkness.

Phil continued through the cave. He came to another room, this one fairly plain, except for an exceptionaly large amount of boulders on the floor. As he shined his flashlight another wild Abra, or perhaps the same, was seen sitting on a rock. However after less than a second in the lot the wild Abra vanished away.

Up ahead, Phil noticed a ladder leading up into another level of the cave.

The large Metang materialised, floating above the ground on waves of magnetism. He set his sights on the Golem and his eyes narrowed. "Larry, use Iron Head!" Casi ordered. Instead, the Metang charged quickly through the air, arms glowing, before attempting a Bullet Punch on the Golem.

A Steel type, increased priority move. The user strikes the target with tough punches as fast as bullets.

He did not need the flashlight now, as this level of the cave was fairly visible. There were less stalagmites and more sitting boulders, at least one of them was a poorly disguised Geodude.

The exit was up ahead, but what Phil noticed was another stone staircase leading to a rock platform with an entrance to another passage, however it was blocked by weak-looking boulders. Perhaps if a trainer had the move Rocksmash they could ascend the other passage, but that was for another day.

As Phil walked out the exit a large group of Zubat followed him out, flying off into the night sky as Phil was left eyeballing the dense and eerie woodlands of Terror Forest...

He climbed the tree, but he was kicked down by a wild Mankey, who had already claimed this tree as his.

James picked up a rock and threw it into the tree hap-hazardly. He then returned Evee to it's luxury ball and made a run for town.

"No!" Phil's shout was for nothing. Wingull crashed into the ground heavily, but managed to rise. "Use a Water Gun." Wingull fired off a jet of water as it took to the air.
