The wild Lunatone attacked back with a Confusion.

Hariyama dropped momentarily to a knee, taking heavy damage from the psychic attack. "Use Vital Throw." Hariyama rushed at Lunatone, grabbing for it.

Hariyama's attack did moderate damage to the psychic-rock type Pokemon. The wild Lunatone then attacked with a Rock Tomb; summoning large boulders to strike down upon Hariyama.

The boulders and Drain Punch bounced of the Protect-ing rock type, scattering all over the field, providing cover for Garbodor to move around the field. Nicola charged forward, preparing to use Drain Punch again

"Welcome to Eucalypse City. The-" The person at the gate said as she notice Isaac being covered in bruises, twigs, and dirt, "What happen?"

"I angered a number of pokemon when I went to get my hot air balloon." Isaac said with some pain.

"Do you need some help sir?"

"Yeah, can you get someone to go get my hot air balloon, I just crashed recently, and the engine needs some new parts."

"Very well, can I call the hospital or a nearby center?"

"Y-yes, please." He then collapse from the pain.

Isaac was then sent to the nearest hospital for some treatment.

The boulders and Drain Punch bounced of the Protect-ing rock type, scattering all over the field, providing cover for Garbodor to move around the field. Nicola charged forward, preparing to use Drain Punch again

Garbador's Drain Punch did heavy damage to Golem, and restored some of its health.

"Golem! Use Bulldoze!"

Golem then plowed itself head-long toward at point-blank range, the ground-type attack now twice as powerful as Golem had just taken damage.

Shake - shake - shake *boughhh* the ball released a puff of energy as Lunatone was now a captured beast.

"I can't believe you would do something as reckless as that." Dr. Jonathan Joy said to Isaac, "All this for two poochyenas?"

"I've been in worse situations before." Isaac said as the doctor put some stinging medication on the open wounds.

"You could die from doing something like that." Jonathan said to which Isaac replied with a shrug.

"So I might have died, it's no big deal. We'll all die eventually. One just have to live their life to the fullest, for one will never know the time, place, and circumstance of one's future demise." Isaac said with solemn smile and a distant stare.

"... Are you mentally disturbed in anyway? I can give you the suicide hotline number." But before Isaac could answer, Nurse Joy come carrying a tray with three pokeballs.

"I got your pokemon healed." She said as she put the tray on the nearby table.

"You need to rest for a bit before going out again." Dr. Joy said.

"It's not big deal."

"Four bruises, three open wounds, two broken ribs, and a cracked femur are a deal, maybe not big for you but it is for us."

"Dear, let the patient decide." Nurse Joy said to her husband.

"I'll just go once I'm healed up and ready. So, how much? I might not have enough money, and I need to sell some stuff, so... do you take pearls?" Isaac asked.

Amon returned his pokemon, except for koffing, and exited the abandoned building. He glanced up at the sky and took a breath of fresh air before making his way to sludge city's pokecenter.

Hariyama got to his feet and picked up Lunatone's pokeball. He handed it to Phil, who put it into his bag and continued towards the exit, hoping to find it without another incident. The Light seemed to be growing stronger at the end of the tunnel, Phil was near the exit.

What he found instead was a simple crack in the side of the tunnel. Darkridge Pass was not a journey to take lightly.

What he could make out in the faint light was a large chamber. A large rock collapse occupied on side of the room as large stalagmites reached between the floor and the ceiling, like eerie pillars in the wicked darkness. Beyond that, was sheer blackness...

As he continued walking he realized he could see a releflection of the Pokemon's glowing eyes in the puddles at his feet. The pokemon suddenly realized it was detected, and showed itself.

A wild Ghastly emerged from the ominous depths of Darkridge Pass...

The passage was black as black could be. Phil thought he noticed two diamond eyes in the darkness, but they were gone before he could get a second look.

He needed some way to light the tunnel.

The Bulldoze attack hit, doing super-effective damage and lowering its speed. The pokémon struggled to get up. One more attack like that and Nicola would be out of the battle. The pokémon charged up another Drain Punch at point-blank range, charging up her arms and slamming them into the opposing Golem.

In front of him he noticed the tunnel panned out into a larger cavern. Beyond the piles of boulders and sounds of dripping water the passage split into two narrow pathways. An old wooden sign that had deep scratches in it read:

Phil looked around at his Pokemon, "Left it is." The group walked down the left passage, searching for the end of the tunnel.
