As Kevin climbed the mountain, he could see a large plateau near the top where the faint sounds of a pokémon battle could be heard. It would take some climbing to reach the area.

Kevin began to speed up, climbing higher, looking for what could be making that sound.

As he got closer, he could hear the unmistakable call of a Machop as well as a Tentacool. Although what would Tentacool be doing in mountains?

Bale watched the Miltank, he could only think of meat.... he wouldn't attack it and so he went on in search for some other pokemon

As he got closer, he could hear the unmistakable call of a Machop as well as a Tentacool. Although what would Tentacool be doing in mountains?

Kevin and Ralts landed behind a large rock slightly away from the battlefield. Sticking his head around, Kevin could see a Machop locked in combat with a Tentacool, the tentacles holding the arms of the fighting type.

"What is going on here," Kevin thought to himself. He looked around for any trainers.

The first trainer he spotted was a large, muscular man wearing hiking clothing. After a few moments he spotted Casi, remembering the battle in the Herracross tournament.

Kevin recognized Casi, but decided not to interrupt the battle. He, Ralts, and Kabuto sat down to watch the rest of the fight.

George was still sleeping and meanwhile Growlithe climbed to tree next to Taillow. Growlithe said Grow?(What's your decision).

Taillow looked up sleepily. "Taillow, taillowtai lowtaillow taitaill!" It takes more time than a few hours to get to know someone. I'll decide and let you know when I've made a decision. But I'll stick around for now.

Phil watched the Zubat fly away, relieved at their escape. Zigzagoon popped its head up from the heap and smiled. "Come on guys." Phil and his team trekked deeper into the tunnel, reaching a fork in the tunnel. "Which way do we go?" Hariyama pointed to the left tunnel, Zigzagoon, Shuppet, and Wingull moved to go down the right tunnel. Phil stood at the fork, confused even more as to where he was.

"Alight Evee! Now we've got em!" James yelled victorious as Evee ran in for another Tackle.

"Dodge it Machop! Then hit it with another Seismic Toss!"

Machop ducked and rolled out of the way of the Supersonic, which as an attack was not the most accurate method of confusion, and then charged at Tentacool ready to use another proportional damage Seismic Toss.

"Wrap your tentacles around Machop and use Bubblebeam!" Casi ordered.

"Tenta..." nodded the pokémon as Machop charged in. As Machop put its hands on Charlie, the jellyfish wrapped its long tentacles around both the fighting type's arms (one per arm), securing itself to the opponent to nullify the attack. "Tentacool!" Charlie growled angrily before firing a Bubblebeam at point-blank range.

The attack did moderate damage, as it stung Machop's skin it also lowered his speed.

"Use his wrap against him, use his tentacles to keep him still for another Seismic Toss!"

Machop grabbed onto Tentacool's long arms with an iron-like grip, and used them as handle bars to try and slam Tentacool into the ground.

Phil, trusting his longtime partner and the rules of the Internet, went left. He stumbled along the dark path, hearing the cries of wild Pokemon and seeing only a speck of light in the distance. Another sound behind him, he turned and saw a Pokemon burrow its way through the wall.

He peered through the darkness, and came face-to-face with a wild Abra hiding in the blackness.

Phil watched sadly as the Abra disappeared. Shuppet floated over to him and stopped above his head. Together they continued towards the speck of light growing at the end of the tunnel. They reached it, in an uneventful journey. All of Phil's Pokemon were accounted for and they exited the tunnel, stepping into the daylight. Phil finally spotted a sign pointing away from the tunnel. "This way to Kani Town" Phil shrugged, no longer caring that he had gotten lost and continued through terror forest to the town.

He had been walking in silence alongside his Pokemon, save for a sound of a Pokemon crashing through the undergrowth on the side of the road. He stopped and turned to face the wall of trees. "Show yourself!"

"Trip him with Bubblebeam!" Casi ordered Charlie.

The Tentacool kept using Bubblebeam, moving down the Machop's body and firing at the pokémon's legs to try and trip it before the attack.

The Machop raised its arms before slamming the attacking Tentacool into the ground. The stream of hard bubbles ceased momentarily on impact with the ground before continuing. As the Machop raised its arms again, Charlie took the opportunity to move closer to the Machop and make it harder to use the attack, wrapping its tentacles around Machop's shoulders and pulling himself closer, firing Bubblebeams at closer and closer range.

Bale looked at it, this could be some good training... "Rhyhorn, Dig" he said while tossing his pokeball.
Rhyhorn came out and dug himself into the ground to attack the ponyta from underneath.

Ponyta watched the Rhyhorn go underground and prepared for a battle. It used Agility, making it much faster.

"Now" Bale shouted, Rhyhorn dug himself to the surface at full speed right underneath the Ponyta
