Kurt got in the car and said, "Trust me, you don't want to be in one, they're are not that comfortable."

Casi nodded as the driver pulled out from the kerb. Francesca climbed up onto Casi's head and snuggled in for the journey. "Joltik," she sighed contently.

Casi turned to Kurt as the car left Sludge City. "So tell me a little more about yourself. We didn't really talk much when we were exploring the abandoned factory."

"Not a whole lot to tell, honestly," he said, "I was born and raised in Kani town. Somewhere down the line I met Murkrow and we were best buds right off the bat. Eventually I dropped out of school and started traveling around."

"Honestly, I never really payed attention to what went on around me," he confessed, "I always thought it was boring, but that was probably just because of school."

Casi nodded again. He glanced out of the window as they passed a sports car before turning his attention back to Kurt. "I grew up on Aqua Island," he said. "My parents run a comedy club. I got to know the gym leader because he does a regular act there. He's the one that taught me about pokémon. Although my parents are supportive, they don't really know much apart about raising pokémon."

Having dropped Buneary off at his mother's house, Kevin decided he'd go to the Safari Park in Eucalypse. He had been there before with his family, but he never had a chance to catch anything for himself. He entered the station, paid to enter the park, grabbed several safari balls, and left on his hunt.

As he ventured deeper into the semi-tropical park, he noticed a hollowed, rotting log under the cover of some large ferns. It had thick moss and multiple mushrooms growing on it, but it looked as if it could be turned over.

Kevin rolled up his sleeves, slipped his hands under the log, and lifted with all his strength!

The mostly decayed log shattered when Kevin tryed to lift it, leaving dirt and slimy plant matter all over his hands. However, as the wet, broken wood came apart into small, leathery shards, two Paras attempted to crawl away, and a Croagunk tried desperately to bury itself back into the rotting log.

(OOC: I thought no battles, but you could befriend them with your pokemon? I just figured it would be that give berry/creep closer kina deal.)

He came to a large body of water, not so much a lake as a large connected system of multiple ponds. There was a small rustling in the reeds that sat in the shallow water.

Inspector Fuyouri had gathered his team. Now they sat in wait, on rooftops, inside buildings, disguised as city folk. His combined force of International Police and city guards were ready to make the move as soon as he gave the word. Furret crouched next to his shoulder as he pulled out the binoculars and scanned the dark streetway below.
"Blue One, this is Black Two. We have eyes on two targets. Over." The voice of an IP came on the radio.
"Black Two this is Blue One, loud and clear, over."
"All units, this is Silver One. Hold your positions, over." Fuyouri instructed.
"Roger that Silver One."
He then watched as two Rocket scouts emerged from a passage inside an empty dumpster in a discreet back alley. They had just discovered the location, just as Ryan and his "contact" predicted they would. And now all he had to do was sit and wait for them to call in their freinds.

As the Rocket Scouts emerged, a large van pulled up at the back of the alley. Six people climbed out wearing gas masks, followed by what appeared to be a Gengar. The pokémon floated ahead of the group, gaining the attention of the two Rocket Scouts and using Hypnosis. As the Scouts collapsed, the new arrivals climbed into the dumpster and headed into the hideout. The Gengar floated through the solid sides of the dumpster and into the passage.

"Wonderful," Kevin mumbled as he wiped sludge off his pants with his sleeve. He then stood up, and let Trapinch deeper into the the safari park.

Things were going pretty well, until Trapinch suddenly opened its wide jaw and attempted to chomp down on Marill. "What are you doing Trapinch?!?!"

[Aserica]

Go, Articuno!

The giant blue bird burst from its pokeball. Its graceful wings carrying it effortlessly into the air. Whoever faced this creature in battle stood little chance. It began to touch down in front of Jake, its flaps kicking up a strong wind and a small movement of dust around it. He marveled at it, observing every detail, the sparkle of its wings, the long elegant curve of its tail, the majestic stare of its face ... it was magnificent. Careful not to get too distracted, Jake went back to the battle.

Ice beam, Articuno!

The pokemon lifted itself into the air again, with massive thrusts of its wings. A glowing bright orb formed where it opened its beak, gaining power from the air around it. It got to an astonishing size before the giant bird released it in a frosty beam of frozen water. Jake watched in awe and excitement. But what was this? The ground began to shake, the stadium around him began to crumble. Articuno took off into the sky, heading off into the distance. Jake was shook to his core.

Wake up, kid. We're here.

The fisherman gave Jake a gentle shake on the shoulder. He had fallen asleep on the bench at the back of the boat. Awakening from his nap he felt more tired now than he did before. Eevee was still energetic as ever though. The duo hopped off onto the dock and gave a thanks to the fisherman before heading into town and figure out where the best hunting grounds were. It was time to add a new member to their team.

Things were going pretty well, until Trapinch suddenly opened its wide jaw and attempted to chomp down on Marill. "What are you doing Trapinch?!?!"

Marill then dove into the water, and swam away.

When Bale and Derek had set up camp he walked to the Hot Plate, There he saw some pokemon resting in the sun.
